Pros +
- The vallet and the restaurant were excellent. The front desk gentleman seemed annoyed but the young lady who took over for him was lovely.
- Beautiful grounds, easy to find the hotel.
- 3rd time here at Steamboat & 2nd time at the steamboat grand. Fall break for the kids, so not very many people. No crowds was great. I gave this trip a chance even thou Covid is still around.
Cons -
- The room we were put in was sub par and did not meet the pictures I had seen online or match the common areas of the hotel. We were put in room 206, that I believe was a handicap room. The room had a horrible disinfectant odor that was so bad I had to open the window to air out. There were visible gouges in the door to the bathroom that looked like they had tried to fill and everything looked like it had been just "glossed" over. I wanted to change out rooms or upgrade to something nicer, but since we were there for less that 24 hrs, we decided against it. The hotel was obviously not at capacity so I was confused as to why we were put in this room. This was a quick getaway to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday ( I let them know this) and I expected better, or at least what I viewed online.
- I knew the pool was closed for maintenance, but i did wish it was open because the weather was so nice, in the 50s. I didn't like paying extra to park underground ( $15 a day )
- Microwave/Refrigerator would be nice. Had to set our wine outside on the balcony.

The room was very nice and we loved the jacuzzi tub.
