Quiet and comfortable, very pleasant stay. The motel is old, but very clean.
The only thing we didn't like was that the TV was a bit confusing. We had the clerk come help us, and although he fixed our issue, there was a pop-up that continued to show. We were able to delete it but the pop-up periodically showed. It was more irritating than anything.

Room was clean. I think a better breakfast could be offered for the cost of the hotel. Appreciated the discount on the dog charge (two little dogs for the price of one). Liked the restaurant that is independent that was in the parking lot area. Clerk was great...let us see the room before check-in AND gave us location of a very nice park for the dogs to exercise in.
Noise was sometimes an issue because big trucks went by on the freeway next to the hotel. View was unpleasant (the ugly parking lot.)

There was easy access to the motel. The room was reasonably clean. It was shabby. The air conditioning was a wall unit that was impossible to control. It had to be on all night so we had the air blowing on us. Very uncomfortable.
The village Inn has deceived booking.com with a photo that is of 1/10 of the property and they put us in the shabby part of their property. Their lobby is dingy and small. they have a pool, but it is locked. We had no elevator to our room on second floor.

Loved that I could bring my dogs without any issue. Just paid an extra $35 a night. The room and grounds were very clean. They have a water fountain with fish inside it. They have smoking areas for ppl who smoke. Very close to freeway entrances and lots of restaurants and places to shop. Very quiet location. Never had to worry about drug addicts or homeless bothering anyone. Perfect location for travelers to stay when they just wanna get away.!!
Nothing at this point. Only wish my dogs did not cost extra but more than willing to pay because the price is reasonable.
