The beach and the restaurants.

The staff were uptight, they don’t leave complimentary water and want you to pay $6 after paying $---a night. There is no free coffee, no complimentary breakfast, I don’t understand why I have to check in at 4pm after paying all that money for a night.

Music each night outdoors.

Our room...210...was between floors...very noisy...one night a group of people had a small party right outside my door.

The friendly atmosphere

One server was not as friendly. Seemed impatient and in hurry when wanting to take order. Had this server twice. Was a little more friendly in the afternoon service but still hurried. Made you feel like a bother.

The best part was the location. It's a much better place in the summer as you have the outside which is beautiful.

The location of our room was just ok. There were no washclothes at all in our bathroom. They brought us the wrong breakfast but took $3.00 off it. You had to ask for a spoon for breakfast as there were no spoons on any of the tables for your coffee?

Too hilly

This was a hotel AND spa and had all the amenities you could ask for. They were getting ready for Memorial Day weekend but the stay was seamless. We had a wonderful time!!!

Noise ar night from wedding guests. The bar served a bloody Mary from a store bought mix.

I loved the atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay here again!Next time we will get Oceanview and handicap!

My cousin has Parkinsons and we found to get to one of the dining rooms for breakfast we had to go through the kitchen areas in order to get a table. She found that there were some areas that could have been altered for the handicap to move more freely.

Staff rude and not accommodating. Many events going on and hotel NOT QUIET with loud voices heard all night long.

The Concierge at the front door was outstanding. He held doors, facilitated a room change, shuttled us with his golf cart, and delivered bags to the room. He had a very positive disposition. He's definitely an asset. Indoor pool/gym were great.

The library building was not ADA compliant (no ramps or elevator). The steps into the library building are higher than standard. People were having missteps because of it. Heating system sounded like a jet engine. Broken door handle.

House keeping did not leave extra towels as I requested. Spa did not have any available appointments. Staff was limited.There was no music at outside bar area, and outside bar was closed until Thursday, due to limited staff.

Showers do not have grab bars. There are no security personnel walking around. Many entrance doors are always open.

My husband and I got married Monday the day that we stayed at the hotel for one night which was our honeymoon... Everyone was very nice and accommodating we even got our dessert comped because it was our honeymoon... It really was a great experience

Honestly it was an amazing experience the only thing I would even consider changing is whatever company they get their sheets from for the bed The sheets or scratchy and stiff when you spend $--- a night at a resort You want super soft sheets

Very clean facilities and accommodating staff. The grounds were well kept and good COVID-19 protocol was in place. Beautiful views.

The HVAC system in our room was very noisy.

The location was spot on. The food was also delicious.  Hotel employee at the front desk was more than accommodating.

The hotel assures guests that mask wearing will be enforced. However, only about 50% of people were wearing masks and mask wearing was NOT enforced, despite signs posted all around the resort that it was mandatory.

great setting!

Difficult to get to the third floor - staircases are poorly marked and confusing - I believe done purposely to maintain the "ambiance" of an old-style hotel - BUT FAILED TO AMUSE ME!

Location was great and views from rooms were beautiful. Lots of great options to eat outside looking at the water.

Hotel feels more like a glorified Holiday Inn than a resort and they pump out so many weddings a day that it's a little hectic and crowded. Beachfront is also incredibly small and cramped.

I loved the ambiance of the hotel, it's elegant and the staff were super friendly and gave great customer service.

I feel that the décor was a bit out dated in our room, having the coffee machine in the bathroom was pretty random and the elevator near us was super slow, having to carry our luggage down the stairs or up the stairs was pretty taxing.
