Hyatt Regency Louisville

Its a very nice place to stay close to 4th street live. Room is nice and spacious.

When booking make it aware of parking and that you can purchase a parking pass it can be added onto your stay

I was surprised that I still had to pay to park in the parking garage while staying there. The room was also very expensive, but I stayed during the Louder Than Life rock festival. Also, there is no microwave in the room.

Right down town, we mainly came for Louder Than Life and it was literally 50 steps away! Hotel was beautiful and has a great staff all the way around!

Booking.com double-booked us for the night; we had 2 rooms reserved instead of one for some reason. We found this out when we tried to check in. The lady at the desk then gave us a room for a higher price than the one we were quoted when we registered. I went to the booking.com website and was advised to call the property. The hotel said they would cancel one of the reservations and not charge us for it. We were charged anyway. All I can think is that the lady at the desk gave us a third room and not one of the two original ones that were booked. Still, we thought we had taken care of things only to discover that nope, we were still charged for two rooms on the same night, even though we were only given one key and occupied one room. To top it off, our car was broken into in their garage that night and things were stolen. It felt like a violation, especially since we had to pay to park in that garage.So it was a TERRIBLE stay! We haven't managed to get a refund from the hotel for the extra charges, either. When you call them, nobody answers, just a recorded voice that says they will call in back in 3 days, which they never do.

The hotel was great

Close to many bars, restaurants and places to visit. Very clean

There was a conference starting the last night we were there and it was so loud. People were partying in rooms with door open and security didn’t do anything, even after letting front desk know at 12:30am.

Location to downtown activities. Everything outside the room. Staff very polite and helpful. Elevators very fast and smooth riding.

Room was very small and tight. Could hardly get luggage cart in through door hallway. Bathroom very small/tight. Very undersized rooms for prices charged. Large black stains in carpet in room.

The hotel and staff were awesome. We have never stayed there before and they were so helpful in getting us to where we were going. The check in process was quick and easy and the parking was excellent. I can say we will be staying there again on our next visit to Louisville. We live 2 hours away from Louisville and came to see a live show that was just 3 blocks from the hotel. The location was close to everything we were doing during our stay. I just want to say this was a beautiful hotel and the restaurant on site was excellent as well. Thank you so much for a great experience and we look forward to staying there again.
