- Rustic, thoughtful decor, the motel-style cottages where you can park right in front of your room, lots of tea and coffee and even creamers in the room were a welcome refuge from our days of tent camping. The lodge itself has so many restaurants.

- The front desk person .... she was very helpful and knew about what we wanted to see... thanks to her

- There is no air conditioning in the entire hotel/rooms. We were told that because they were a historic site they did not have air conditioning and to open the windows. It was 86 degrees outside. The view shown on the website is only from the hotel lobby.
