Review summary

The hotel is praised for its excellent, convenient location near key attractions, restaurants, and public transit, as well as spacious, comfortable rooms with clean bedding and friendly, helpful staff. While many reviews highlight cleanliness and comfort positively, some guests reported issues with room cleanliness, including dust, stains, and unclean showers, as well as noise disturbances due to limited soundproofing. Parking options are available but can be costly and inconvenient, and the on-site restaurant offers good food and service despite a limited menu.

The location was excellent—very close to metro stations, with plenty of shops, a few restaurants nearby, and within walking distance of the theaters. The room was spacious, with a great city view from the window, and the bathroom was large, with a shower that had good water pressure and temperature. I also found it interesting that breakfast wasn’t a buffet but rather a menu from which you could choose one dish, and there were many options available.

Although the breakfast menu had several choices, during my stay many items were unavailable. I understand this might have been due to supply issues rather than the hotel itself, but ingredients were missing from almost all the dishes. Another issue was that there was only one server working, and she was clearly overwhelmed—handling all the tables, cleaning, and delivering orders on her own. She was very friendly and courteous, but the service understandably suffered because she was overworked, which is not her fault.

Awesome location , friendly staff , great parking situation , nice room . Overall great experience would recommend!

Smart tv access would’ve been helpful , and one light in my room didn’t work but other than that everything was great thank you

Location was good- lots to do in the area. Felt safe. Room was very clean

The shower was super smallI got a rate that included breakfast in the restaurant and they were literally out of most everything on the menu- very disappointing and they didn’t offer to do anything to make things better.

The location is great

I felt like I had to beg to have the room cleaned. Even when it was. They didn’t vacuum the floor.

The size of the room was great. Definitely roomy for two people and would also be great for a family of 4. I liked the benches by the windows and the small table for eating. The beds were comfortable and had nice pillows. The room was very clean. The bathroom had plenty of towels and they were very soft. I would definitely consider this hotel again for another trip to Chicago.

I don't prefer barn style bathroom doors. They never seem to be fully closed. Seems to lose a little privacy with the door cracked open.

The check in process just felt rushed & check in staff didn’t feel welcoming honestly this is my 2nd time staying at this hotel in the past 2 years so I think the staff could’ve been better

spacious room, convenient location.

Common areas not that interesting or exciting. Website showed pool table. Fold out sofa bed was not comfortable.

The location is superb for walking to attractions, the L, Millenium Train Station. The hotel is very clean, quiet for our room (from neighbor rooms; the outdoors noises are just city sounds). The room layout was great; bed was very comfortable.

The refrigerator ended up freezing some leftovers and a drink can expanded and seeped out the drink; we could not find any temperature control dial etc inside to turn it down. We didn't call or text the front desk to alert because it wasn't the biggest deal; just a small small drawback.
