The Ritz-Carlton O'ahu, Turtle Bay

The location is beautiful. The view from our room was gorgeous.

Lack of customer service, lack of welcoming feeling, lack of quality standards for a 5 star hotel. My expectations were much higher. Towels were rough as well as the robes. Room itself was basic. We got a lei at check in and not info about the hotel etc

Would have liked a resort map at checking. We were made aware of activities, but we were unaware of transport to various locations. We stumbled upon this information.

What I liked best about the hotel was the cleanliness of the hotel. The structure of the hotel was beautiful. The overall look was very beautiful.

The hotel tried to steal a thousand dollars from me, but luckily I locked my credit card. I checked in and went to sleep. At 4am the hotel tried to run my credit card and charge me again for my room. Then hotel tried to double charge me for breakfast!

Staff was great from checking in to valet guys and  at the pool Bar¿she is the best!

They claim to run out of certain wines to make you buy more expensive wines¿bait and switch. They have robes but you have to request. Snorkeling should be covered under $50 resort fee.

Turtle Bay is so clean and so many nice touches to it. Very elegant but not stuffy. The views from this resort are amazing. Sunsets are beautiful. I love how spacious the room is and there is a sitting area.

Lovely location with beaches right outside the hotel, it's a quiet & secluded spot. Hotel was clean with refreshed spaces. Nearby towns are a 10-15 minute drive away, easy to find stores, groceries, etc. It's a nice spot on the north shore.

Onsite restuarants were a bit pricey for the value.

Everything my room was falling apart, the walls were dirty and scuffed, there was black mold in the shower, the lock for the sliding door was falling off, I steped on a rust screw inside my room

Location to local attractions and beaches was nice. Many excellent views of the ocean.

Felt rushed by cleaning staff when leaving the room daily.

EVERYTHING cost extra. Beach chair rental= 30$ and umbrella rental= 40$. snorkel gear: two hr rental. For an upscale "resort" one would expect some accommodations.

I heard that police man or someone came in near my room. It was so scary moment. And beach staff was bloking my sight when playing with my baby. And i saw fighting becase of beach chair. I think that hotel was not good stay with children.

best location. good room condition and ocean view. A variety of activities are available and snorkel equipment and beach chairs are available for free at the beach.

there is no mircowave in the room. If I use the microwave, I have to pay a rental fee at 20$ a day. The hotel restaurant are good but the price is rather expensive and there are not many outside restaurants near the hotel.

Great location, very clean. and well maintained, you would never know the resort was as old as it was.

You are a captive audience and they take full advantage of that. The dining & everything else are very nice, but expensive. Given the secluded location it would be nice to have access to a simple reasonably priced meal without driving 30min to town.

The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful with beach, pool, trails, golf course, fitness center, restaurants, etc. the attention to detail is impeccable

The place is different than any other hotel in Oahu. It's a slice of paradise outside of the busy city of Honolulu with a calming aura. Definitely recommend going to the spa while you're there. I feel that the seaside massage added 5 years to my life!

The resort location and facilities are lovely. The staff was gracious and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a wedding during our stay, and the music from the reception was very loud. I called the front desk staff and security, but nothing was done.

See above. The music was so loud that we couldn't sit on our balcony from 7-10 PM. Had our room been on the other side of the hotel, this would not have been such a problem, but the wedding was right below our window. Very upsetting.

Food is overpriced and awful for a resort of this type. This honestly took our trip from a perfect 10 to a 7. One night I had ribs at the Grill and my Wife had the catch of the day. Both were overcooked and dry. BBQ sauce smothering the ribs (2-3 cups)
