Beautiful view and location and a wonderful breakfast.

The hotel itself is amazing. It's very beautiful. The rooms are big and comfortable. The lake view is out of this world. The atmosphere is so peaceful.

The shower gel disperser was empty, we had some robes for the sauna but no slippers and the lady at the desk for check out was quite distracted. We had to go back because of parking.

Amazing location by the water, a historical place, with 5 min walk to Konstanz center and still isolated from the City. Rooms with sea view are a must. Also great they have car parking amenities

Hard to pinpoint. Nothing comes to mind. Rooms average size, great for one person stay, snug for a couple.

Original room assignment was like a dungeon. Far away from stairs, small window, dark and unsuitable for my mobility issues. After complaining a better room was found.

Breakfast was great , the hotel is interesting historical building and the room was nice

Expensive parking

Everything was without really care and love. The welcome was not existing, the mini bar with 2 bottles of water, the room, a junior suite so basic like a 3 sterns… there was just no soul no love we felt like in a huge hotel chain…..

The breakfast and location were great!

Paying 49€ extra to put a sheet on the sofa to make an uncomfortable bed for my daughter.

Staff, room, dining, location, ambience.

•The staff were very polite and friendly.•The cleaning lady and the overall cleanliness were excellent.•The breakfast was perfect, with fresh and delicious food.•The massage was very good.

•The massage room felt unprofessional and cold.•The bed was uncomfortable, as it consisted of two single mattresses pushed together.•The toilet had no real door, which felt awkward.•The hotel charged the New Year’s dinner twice (€438), which we had to catch and correct.•We were charged for a Laurent Perrier Rosé (€299) instead of the Moët Rosé (€170) you ordered.•Parking costs €150 for six nights, which wasn’t communicated beforehand.•Additional bottles of water cost €9.50 each, totaling €40 for four bottles.

We liked the location, on the lake, and next to the Christmas market. We really enjoyed the architecture and history of the hotel.

Wonderful historical hotel on lake Konstanz. Great location in proximity to the downtown and the lake. The views of the lake are magnificent. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. We were in town to explore some of the local Christmas markets. We are definitely going to stay there again the next time we are in the area.

Great breakfast and lovely location. Good parking. Nice staff.

Very out of date. Even the “renovated” rooms seemed out of date. We stayed in both and in our room it felt like everything was from the 80s, and not in a charming way. The bathroom didn’t have a proper door, but a stall style door, which isn’t great for privacy or smells.

The room on the 4th floor was rather close feeling. I’m a bit claustrophobic and didn’t see the lower ceiling on the website otherwise I would have booked a room on a lower floor. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very good. Kitchen was acceptable, not very good. Especially for the price. Service was very good.

The location on Konstanz lake was beautiful and very handy to the train station. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is filled with character. Breakfast was delicious

Did not appear to be enough staff to provide the expected level of service to guests using the lakeside terrace areas outside meal times. Opportunities to increase hotel revenues lost.

Breakfast was delicious. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. The staff was super friendly!

The bathroom door in our room was frosted glass with no lock, so that's tricky if you need privacy. Also, just be warned that the boats passing sound their horns often, if you have noise sensitivity.

Breakfast area had 2 sections- inside and outdoor seating.. inside seating room was more comfortable.
