Hotel Zaza Houston

Great location, close to many landmarks and museums. Also walking distance from the metro rail station. Free shuttle to attractions. The restaurant staff is very friendly and accommodative.

Location and good size room

Very cold in hotel including restaurant had to wear my jacket inside . Noisy could hear the lifts .

Very nice boutique hotel with excellent outdoor pool and bar. Free shuttle rides within 3 miles. The ambience is relaxed and service is fantastic.

Comfortable bed and linens. Quiet and large room. View of treetops out the windows was beautiful. Shower-- great water pressure.

The public spaces in the hotel were dark. There were no trashcans in the lobby or in the area around the valet. The bathroom did not have enough hooks for towels.

Location is good. Staff was cordial.

It's run down. Everything just looks grimy. I was originally in a suite and the AC didn't work. They promptly moved me to a smaller room and gave me $50 food credit.

Hotel Zaza has Houston Museum has a great location, museums are closed, we stayed there for a concert at the NRG stadium and also was a perfect location. The area that surrounds the hotel is very beutiful. The rooms are nice and beds are confortable. The Hotel personnel is very nice and the attention was unike.

The location was excellent—very convenient for getting around the city. It made exploring local attractions, restaurants, and shops easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in a central spot.

While the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere and decent amenities, I was disappointed by a few key issues that significantly affected my stay. One of the house rules stated that no outside food or drinks were allowed, which I found to be quite unreasonable — especially as someone with diabetes. I follow a strict diet due to medical needs. Being told I could only purchase food on-site was frustrating and felt inconsiderate.Additionally, the lack of a standard refrigerator in the room was a serious concern. I was traveling with medication that needed refrigeration, and my only option was to store it in the mini bar. Since many mini bars use sensors to detect item movement, I was uneasy about being mistakenly charged — not to mention the stress of hoping my medication stayed at the proper temperature.I understand hotels have policies in place, but I believe more flexibility and accommodation should be given to guests with medical conditions. Unfortunately, these oversights made my stay more stressful than it should have been.

The hotel overall was nice! Staff was extremely helpful and polite!

The room was not worth the price! Although the bed was comfortable. This was almost a $500 room for 1 night on a Monday. Poorly renovated, ceiling in main entry was stained and had poor workmanship, the robes hanging in the closet were dirty, and only 1 pair of slippers. No soak tub and pool was dirty and full of leaves. This was a date night and just thought for the price of the jr. Suite it would be nicer.

Great location. Good food and friendly staff.

Would love to have had breakfast included.
