- This hotel looks the same as it did when I stayed in it 10 years ago. I was a little disappointed there had been zero upgrades to it especially with the price of the room.

- Beds were very small. Room service ended at 11pm and has a rule i can't order in my own food even if their food isn't available
- Yes!!!! The decor, paintings, and drawings makes me feel so uncomfortable and scary. The paintings and drawings with animal heads and human body's are so freakish looking with a cult or gothic feel. It's liken to a cultish sacrificing orgy kind of vibe.
- Monarch manager was rude when trying to coordinate brunch reservations.

The Room, balcony and restaurant.

Location: walkable to Natural History Museum, zoo, art museums, beautiful large park, and light rail. Housekeepers were awesome.
Needs recycling bins. Missed having a coffee maker in the room to have tea at night before bed.
