A combination of local décor and modern features, rooms at Berghotel Rehlegg are mostly fitted with charming wood furnishings. Each room extends out on either a balcony or a private terrace with panoramic mountain views. - A lovely hotel with exceptional food , we have been many times.
- Facilities, staff friendliness, location.
- Friendly and welcoming staff. Location was stunning and decor and facilities were excellent. Meals were amazing, fresh, local produce. Loved the hotel's approach to sustainability. It was great to get a guest pass for local buses and it also offered discounts on entry fees.
Cons -
- There was significant and intrusive building noise in our room for most of our stay and our complaint was handled in a disappointing manner. We were reluctantly offered a room without a sauna ( a major attraction to us) and no financial recompense or incentives were offered as an acknowledgment of our loss of enjoyment.
- Beds too soft, Drinks were expensive.
- We found the mattress too soft. We raised this with staff after the first night, and they did try and improve the situation by putting some kind of board underneath the top layer of mattress making a slight improvement. Despite the soft mattress we would return as we loved everything else.
