The bartender at the lounge, the pool staff, the food, the spa, the location.

Upon arrival the golf cart driver was very rude. The casita was in need of maintenance and had an ant problem. There were beer cans and cigarette butts on our balcony and our lotion and body wash containers were empty in our bathroom.

The natural desert setting of the property is spectacular

The staff are not trained to provide 5 star service. The gold cart drivers in particular are casual to the point of rudeness and act like they are doing you a favor. Both pools need resurfacing.

Unique setting in the boulders of the desert.

The staff was not friendly. Barely even communicative. We ended up being locked out of our room the first night. They had to come and drill the lock open while we stood around in the cold. The front desk didn't even offer an apology

The room could benefit from a ceiling fan to keep cool air moving on warm summer days.

The Resort and grounds were very nice. The room was very outdated and had many problems. Water leaks in the ceiling falling on the furniture, it would take 5 plus minutes to get hot water, room was not cleaned one day, cost benefit fell extremely short!!

The casita was amazing. Beautiful decor, cloud-like bed, gorgeous bathroom¿

The location was great nestled in the boulders. The spa facilities were awesome, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating

There were some aspects of the facility that seemed a bit tired. Many path lights were not working. Not what you expect at 5 star location.

The location was a dream. Even though we live only 20 min away in Scottsdale this still felt removed and secluded and the desert scape was beautiful. Our casita was amazing and we enjoyed the spa & fitness facilities

Beautiful setting in the high Sonoran desert.

The room lacked printed information about the resort and the surrounding community. I like when a resort compiles that information into a binder for each room.

Location and setting and ambiance

Needs better maintenance. Paint trim exterior of casita was cracked and rotted. Other upgrades needed in golf shop area-seems dated.

The villa we received although we heard that¿s a crapshoot. The hiking trails and walking trails on site. The Spotted Donkey.

The floors were really dirty in our villa. I think there was a hurry to clean it as we were checking in late and they didn¿t have our hacienda. I was frustrated we didn¿t get the level of home we paid for and the effort to get a refund for the difference.

The staff that drives you around in the golf carts

No room service, inability to eat at restaurants on site, poor service in the restaurants, long wait time, understaffed

The landscaping throughout the property was well kept .

1. All the bugs inside our hotel room. 2. The rooms were far from the self parking area 3. Having to call for bell service to be picked up with a golf cart to go around the property unless you are willing to walk in 107 plus degrees

We loved the wildlife and nature along with the beautiful boulders on the property. The casitas were spread out on the property and we were given rides on golf carts for anywhere we wanted to go. We had a lot of fun with our grandkids at the pools.

Wish there had been a microwave in the casita.

There was a dirty sock on floor in closet and hair on rim of bathtub and toilet seat when we checked in

Limited dining options and poor service at the only dinner restaurant, the Grill. Also, our room's sliding glass door did not work properly and caused an injury (laceration and cut on my arm). They sent some one over to bandage the wound and try to fix.
