Hotel The New Fox

The staff here was terrible. The older lady with red hair who works in the mornings had a very rude attitude and made us feel like we were bothering her just by being there. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and we literally had to chase her down just to check in and check out. Because of her, we will not be returning and will be telling others not to stay here.

Redelijk hotel

Room located in small separate building outside the hotel.In the morning you had to go to the hotel for breakfast.No problem if the sun is shining, but not so when it rains

Friendly staff and comfortable room and safe parking facilities

No fridge. Cost of breakfast and no coffee or tea making facilities. Asked for 2 cups of tea which cost 8.50 euros. The restaurant was lovely and food delicious but quite expensive and took ages for our order to be taken for food and drinks.

Excellent location, nice clean rooms and the staff were very friendly.

It’s better to have a hot sup in the breakfast.

It’s so pity that doesn’t provide hot water in the room or doesn’t set a water dispenser on the hallway.

Nice hotel, excellent room, excellent parking, friendly staff, nice lady at breakfast (breakfast was tasty and wide choice).

It's a lovely hotel. Very nice rooms. Staff were brilliant the restaurant was stunning. Very good parking.

I asked for a double bed (king size) and got 2single beds stuck together so hole between all night

Our hotel room was on another building. The building we were in was old and the room smelled like urine when I removed the air freshener. I couldn’t sleep because of the pungent smell of urine. The bed was too soft.

Large rooms, well equipped. Breakfast is fine, although does not value 15 Euro

My room was in the basement, just under the bar/breakfast room. The movements of chairs and tables until late at night are not pleasant. I'm sure that if I had had the room elsewhere it would have been a different feeling

Another room, colder day .. maybe.

I got the room located in the basement. The window could be only tilted and it is located just above the level of the parking lot. After very hot day (30 degrees) the room was as hot. In the room there is no airco. There is only a stand alone fan. It was not possible to cool down the room. I couldn't fall asleep till 3 a.m.

Simple, basic room - very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Good location if you have a party in de Hophoeve

Ideal as an overnight stay on our way down into Germany. Easy to find. Helpful staff. Secure car park. Good value for money. Good breakfast selection.

Could be a little cleaner as hairs and dust in room, otherwise clean. Nothing in walking distance if you wanted to use it as a base other than a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Although secure car park, it is quite deep gravel which is not ideal if you are on motorbikes.

I checked in late but was welcomed very friendly Room is spacious and the bed was very good. Bottle of water very nice. No airco but fan was ok for the night. Late checkout at 11 am also very nice. Very friendly staff and parking right in front of the hotel.

Room doors are very noisy at closure as they are in many hotels but ok, it was quiet overall. Shower/bath was something else however... ;) Not as expected but it worked.

we arived late but even when checkin was closed the staf made sure we got to our room.the went above and beyond to accomodate our tardiness and i am thankfull

the shower and curtains were not made for standing up, so the bathroom got realy wet and slippery. but that is a small detail

This was a good hotel ideal for an overnight stay with good parking and a good location for our trip. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was huge. We chose not to have the breakfast at €15 per person.

We knew this before we booked so this is no reflection on the Hotel, we arrived on a particularly warm day and it is worth bearing in mind that there is no air-conditioning in the rooms.

I didn’t get to experience the restaurant, as I arrived late and left early (just passing through on a long drive) so I can’t comment on that. From what I experienced, I liked nothing.

The room was in an outbuilding, it was cold, damp, there was mould on the ceiling and the bathroom smelled awful (mixture of damp and drainage). Either the room next to me, or the adjoining property, decided to play loud music until about 1am (on a Sunday night) and I could hear everything. The bed felt damp, which was probably the cold room, and there were no heating controls in the room.

Lovely welcome, and fab drink in bar on arrival. Room very spacious and comfortable, really enjoyed my stay

It was directly on our way from the UK to Germany, so v convenient. Our hosts were LOVELY, interesting and helpful. Breakfast was easy+quick, self service, delicious fresh orange juice
