Centrally located on the shores of Lake Rotorua, Novotel Rotorua Lakeside features a restaurant, a fitness center, a geothermal spa and hot pools. Clarks Bar offers a bar snack menu, classic cocktails, local beers and wine and an extensive range of spirits. All air-conditioned rooms have a 42-inch flat-screen TV with 57 cable channels. Each room includes a large work desk, ironing facilities and tea and coffee making facilities, slippers and bathrobe. Hotel was within walking distance to town and restaurants.
Nice location by the lake & local parks, restaurants, & shopping. Spacious room, great amenities at the hotel with a pool, spa, work-out room, bar & restaurant. Close to the Redwood Forest Walk which is a fantastic, relaxing experience.

When I think of Novotel, I think nice. This hotel was rundown. It looks like the hotel has not had any upgrades from the last 40 years.
Beds were nice, but a little bit too soft. The parking was tight if you have a larger car. Other than that everything was great.
Absence of staff to help with luggage, would have been happy to provide a substantial tip. Also no information in room about the hotel, e.g. restaurant, spa, check out time, process.

Nice location by the lake & local parks, restaurants, & shopping. Spacious room, great amenities at the hotel with a pool, spa, work-out room, bar & restaurant. Close to the Redwood Forest Walk which is a fantastic, relaxing experience.

Its location is unbeatable. The hotel is just across street from the lake and the downtown area is about a block away.

The door of the room has a small gap at the bottom, letting in all the noise outside my room, which is right beside the elevator. This should be improved.
