Centrally located on the shores of Lake Rotorua, Novotel Rotorua Lakeside features a restaurant, a fitness center, a geothermal spa and hot pools. Novotel Rotorua is in the heart of the city and provides guests with easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment outlets. Guests can relax with a walk around the lake or enjoy a fun day with the many activities on offer in Rotorua. Atlas Café and Restaurant offers buffet breakfast and dinner and a la carte lunch. Clarks Bar offers a bar snack menu, classic cocktails, local beers and wine and an extensive range of spirits. All air-conditioned rooms have a 42-inch flat-screen TV with 57 cable channels. Each room includes a large work desk, ironing facilities and tea and coffee making facilities, slippers and bathrobe. Novotel Rotorua is a 10-minute walk from the Polynesian Spa, a 5-minute walk from the QE Health Wellness & Spa and a short drive from many activities and geothermal sites.

- Location for everything was amazing. Kids loved it. Kids room, park and parent eats.
- Hotel was within walking distance to town and restaurants.
- Nice location by the lake & local parks, restaurants, & shopping. Spacious room, great amenities at the hotel with a pool, spa, work-out room, bar & restaurant. Close to the Redwood Forest Walk which is a fantastic, relaxing experience.
Cons -
- Not a thing.
- When I think of Novotel, I think nice. This hotel was rundown. It looks like the hotel has not had any upgrades from the last 40 years.
- Beds were nice, but a little bit too soft. The parking was tight if you have a larger car. Other than that everything was great.
