Saftey issues- the pool was open but pitch black due to no lights around pool area or even in hot tub, hot tub was cold, no elevator and very LONG routes to get to other side of hotel with grandma in wheel chair and mother using walker.

There was a lot of parking always available.

We were extremely disappointed. The water backed up in the shower, the front desk button on the phone doesn't work, the furnace wasn't working, the coffee machine wasn't working, the light to the back steps are out which is very dangerous.

Great location and hotel quality were great regarding the events for Stanford University graduation celebrations. The hotel staff did a nice job making our stay very comfortable. We appreciated the hotel staff to help us upload heavy lugguges.

Proximity to where I needed to be.

I changed rooms once, as the initial room was old w/ zero amenities (i.e. no drinking water in the room and the light switch did not work). The second room, had a pungent sewer smell coming from the bathroom, even though it was on the 6th flr.

The pool is the reason to stay here.

Like at many other hotels, I was given a run around about the room type and eventually was able to get an actual poolside room. The chair didn¿t have cushions, the room carpet and walls were dirty and the wallpaper was coming off the wall. Mold.

We usually stay at this hotel when we visit relatives in Palo Alto. It's an older building, but well maintained and in an accessible location. The on-site breakfast buffet, although not fabulous, is tasty, convenient and the food is plentiful.

The pool was fenced off from our poolside room. A card-key-accessible gate would help. Our rate included the breakfast buffet, but one server told my husband he couldn't take coffee from the restaurant to our room. Why not?! Lobby coffee is free all day!!

The staff was fabulous. We loved the cabana and pool, the tables where we could meet with family in the courtyard. The pet area, and the wonderful trees, flowers and foliage that are everywhere on the property. We will stay again.

They need to empty trash cans & clean up around the property. We stayed for a week & the outside trash cans were never emptied, there were not bags for doggie cleanup in the pet area, & bottles & cups we saw around the property were never picked up.

My bed had bugs. Not just one or two but when I pulled blankets back there were lots of bugs. I was horrified. They should have refunded my money, but they instead gave me a 15 parking charge. Never again will I go there. Disgusting.

Location, accommodating front desk staff.

I was a little disappointed I booked a top floor suite and when I arrived for my reservation it wasn't available. Kinda makes the reservation process pointless if it doesn't actually reserve the room you booked. Likely because I booked third party site.

Location to Stanford Medical for Medical Procedures.

Room was very outdated, and furniture was worn and dirty and cabinet in bathroom was broken. Drapes in the room were soiled and worn. Room location was not near an elevator so had to walk far to access the elevator. View of the pool area was nice.

Location. Close enough to Stanford. We were there for my husbands procedure

Coffee machine did not work. Light switches did not work , entry lighting terrible. We were in room 101. At the end with no lights. Thermostat did not work and very noisy. Toilet seat coming off the ground. I reported this. I would hv liked refund

Hotel had more charm with grand entry, room was very large suite with veranda that looked out to courtyard. Wish we could have enjoyed it more seeing the pool. Service at check in was warm and inviting. Will come back for sure and plan to stay and enjoy

The man at the check in desk was incredibly helpful when asking for some help with a travel issue and the printing of a airline ticket. His name was Dan.. He went the extra mile.. Thanks Dan.

I didn't like being told that there would be a $50 charge for parking ??? WTF

The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

A little thin staffed.

Room was clean, check-in and out process was easy.

When we checked in, the staff informed us that there would be a breakfast buffet available in the morning. However, the next morning we were informed that it was not a part of our hotel room package and it would cost an additional 17.95/person.

Very Clean and Friendly Staff. Room was very comfortable.

The desk clerk gave us a lovely room in the cabana section of the hotel because I could access it easily after my surgery. She was kind and thoughtful.

The front desk personnel were extremely gracious and accommodating, as were the bar personnel.

They initially assigned us a room on a wing of the main floor, which was off of an isolated corridor exposed to the outdoors (through a partial wall). This corridor was not secure and was dimly lit. The room itself was poorly laid out. We moved to tower.

Beautiful interior, both the lobby and the room were nicely decorated and very clean. It was not noisy. The staff were friendly. I will happily stay here again!
