The Marlin Hotel

Staff, very friendly, attentive and supportive

We have stayed previously at the Marlin and I found this room basic, in that it was on the Ground floor, close to the noise around Collins Avenue (compared with being on a higher floor previously). I also thought the room somewhat basic, again compared with previously staying at the Marlin.

Excellent staff,extremely clean, GREAT location. LOVED the free use of beach chairs and umbrella. Only 30 rooms so very quiet, but so close to the beach and ocean blvd

Seemed like only 1 working staff most of the time, so we had to wait at the front for assistance a few times

Friendly staff who were very welcoming. The rooms were cleaned each day to a very high standard.

It is a good location. Free umbrellas and beach chairs.

Our room had windows facing the next building, so there was no view at all. Despite leaving a sign on the door requesting housekeeping, our room wasn’t cleaned for three days. The entrance to the hotel is through a restaurant, which felt a bit odd. The reception was often unattended.

Street noise was reasonable given the location in the heart of miami beach and actually surprised at how quiet the room was based on my expectations when coming in from the local nightlife. The staff were very friendly and accommodating between early check-in, strong drinks and friendly smiles. The complementary beach chairs and towels was awesome as I was traveling for work and hadn't planned on a trip to the sand.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable room other than being a bit small. But the bed, pillows, bed linens were fantastic! Staff was great, I ended up leaving a couple of articles of clothing in the closet and when I called, they had found them and we arranged for them to be sent back to me! Unusual these days to find this honesty and helpfulness! We really appreciated that! The restaurant on site was fantastic! We had both lunch and dinner there! Wonderful staff there as well!We would definitely stay here again! The location was perfect as well!

Good location and incredibly clean.

The room I got was next to the street and it was noisy. In general it doesn't have good soundproofing.

Location is great. Right next to the beach but far enough from all clubs/party spaces so you can enjoy everything at once. Staff is fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Limhaul went above and beyond to help us during our stay. He should get a raise :)

Moldy/damp smell in the room. We've stayed in 212/311. No fresh air without open windows.Unfortunately, assholes on burpy loud pipe cars/motorcycles are running galore on the street until 1AM. So people with sensitive sleep should stay elsewhere.Hotels should pressure local authorities to start enforcing their legislated sound levels after 9PM.

Nice overall, very good location, charming entrance/reception, nice corridors, and good/cozy restaurant.

Rooms look a bit simple/cheap and are small, difficult to put away clothes.
