The room was very clean and the staff was very nice and polite. The restaurant in the hotel was really good.

The staff was very friendly, and always willing to help out. The room was a good size, and the breakfast spread offered at the buffet was nice.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few things we did not like about this stay. First and foremost, the location manages to be both in the middle of nowhere and plagued by noise issues. We had asked for a quiet room, but ended up in one facing the road, and while it is a quiet village road, it is the only thoroughfare. There were loud motorcycles coming by throughout the night. The room also overlooked the Biergarten, and during one of our nights we had to endure a party that went on until 2:00 am. We got no sleep that night, and were lucky that this was not the night before our return flight. There is nothing in walking distance, no bakery, no grocery store, and the area has little in terms of restaurants. The room has no fridge, so no way to store any food. (The host was kind enough to save our stuff in the restaurant fridge). Breakfast option is to purchase the buffet, for everything else one has to drive. The bed had a leak-proof mattress cover that made hot nights extremely sweaty and uncomfortable. The room had no "do not disturb" sign, and room service entered our space while we were gone without asking.
