Even though the coffee was free, it tasted very poor. Lobby specifically, didn¿t have high expectations for free room coffee.

The location and amenities .The room was large which was nice.

The view from our room but I new it was going to be a city view for the price but it wasn't great.

The room advertised and booked online did not match what was available once there. There was a long problem checking in because the payment online could not be verified even though a confirmation was given. All worked out but seemed problematic

The room was spacious and had a good view of the Santa Monica Pier. Valet parking was quick and convenient.

There was no cleaning or turndown service for the 3 nights I was there - when I asked the front desk they said they only service after 3 days. I'd at least expect turndown service from a 4 star hotel. The hotel also looked worn/aged.

Location was goo and staff nice but the rooms were okay. I would expect much nicer or updated furniture and better remodeled bathrooms . To me this was an average Marriott hotel. Bed could be more comfortable , outrageous hotel fees when many areas closed

I paid full hotel fee when the gym , spa, restaurants were not open. I paid 45$ for mandatory valet parking when it was not indicated to me at check in or on the site. I had 800$ in extra fees for things I could not use or was required to do and not told

Location was excellent.

We were put on the 3rd floor which was under a complete construction remodel. We were extremely tired from several days of travel and was looking forward to sleeping in. At 7 am, we were woken by very loud workers with power tools and sanding .

The staff were above and beyond hospitable.

The water pressure was ridiculously low. The drought is basically over. The shower should be readjusted , as should be the toilet and sink faucet. The shower was just a bad joke. Maybe ½ gpm, maybe -- whether from the hand shower or the overhead.

Parking was $40 per car! A detail not shared with us before or during our stay. Having to pay for two cars when leaving completely overshadowed any enjoyment we had here. The room...don't remember. But we will forever remember paying $80 to park!

I liked the staff, very professional. Only the staff at dining seemed confused.

I did not like that they were charging too high for parking.

Well you can't beat the service. They are at your elbow. And even anticipate needs before you speak the request. They are all born to service. And they love what they do. The love helping people. it is not just a job. The view is fabulous.

Excellent location, concierge and parking attendants were wonderful.

Could not find my reservation on check in. Never called. Cezanne was EMPTY!! Room service was never delivered. Phone didn't work. Bell hop said it was too complicated.

Beautiful clean rooms with modern decor. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent.

This hotel was perfect in every way except for when we checked in. We pulled up front and were met with several staff members eager to help only to be hit with fees at check-out for their services, however, it was worth every penny.

I paid for parking separately and front desk had a difficult time adjusting. The bill. Also morning service for breakfast wasn't quick.

This was a very comfortable and clean place with plenty of amenities. The nicest Mariott I have ever been in. The staff was courteous and friendly and the location is very close to the beach and just 2 blocks south of the Santa Monica Pier.

They made a mistake and charged me $---, over $---- for one room one night! It screwed my entire bank up, & I got charged fees from my bank because of their error. I am in the middle of a complaint to them because they did this mess up !!!!!!

The room was good, 2 Queen Bed for family of four with two kids. The pool was heated and accessible right next to wonderful fitness center. It was a standard Marriott, nothing fantastic. The stay was not as good as ShangriLa or LeMeridian which were sweet

Felt like a standard professional hotel and less like an experience. Customer service was excellent as you may expect. While across from Tzonga Park for kids it was 2 balls from the pier

Room is spacious - king size bed, desk, easy chair. Service, staff is excellent.

Carpeting a little old and they did not have the room available that I had agreed upon. That specific room is why I had decided to stay at this hotel. Do not offer what you cannot deliver.
