It's a very nice hotel and very good location

Loud music from concert venue hard to hear lectures and sleep

The pool was dirty and smelled. It needs restoration. The staff depend on situation, sometimes they appear rude and didn't share proper information. The self parking entrance was confusing, thankfully new labels were put on to clarify where to swipe the room key. But it was always full at night which was annoying driving around to look for a spot and then making our way to valet with young kids. The breakfast was ok and over priced. Better spots just minutes away from hotel.The views from the room were in the parking lot and not nice.

Really great location. Fun to have easy access to marina activities. Pool restaurant was amazing. Kids loved the pool slides and games. Rooms were comfortable.

When we arrived there were no bellman so we were forced to bring all our luggage ourselves while trying to deal with two tired kids. Not a good arrival experience after long travel. Having to use a key to access the elevator to the room got complicated when our family split up during pool time. We got charged $125 and accused of stealing pool towels because we wore them up to the room after swimming. Main restaurant is not great. Pool area got very crowded during peak times.

The location was great. The view was nice and it is centrally located.

My room was changed from 2 queens to a king and pull out sofa, which meant one of my kids had to sleep on a very crummy thin mattress. Additionally, their parking area machine didn't work and I had to pay the lost ticket fee to leave because the call button didn't work and no one was around to help as it was early. Overall for the cost of the room, this made me feel like I would not come back to this hotel. Disappointed.

Location of the Hotel was very good. Almost near everything

Room cleanliness could have been better. We found a dead insect and a woman’s bra pad in the room upon arrival, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the room lacked some basic amenities such as slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, a minibar, and a heel pulleralso Parking was very expensive!

When I reserved our room I paid for 2 beds and we got a couch with one queen! This was extremely disappointing as my 18 yr old had to sleep on a couch for 3 nights and I paid for 2 queen beds. If the room I reserved wasn’t close to the other family rooms I should’ve been contacted directly without my reservation being changed!

One of, if not, the best hotel check in experiences I have ever had. As a tired family of four who had travelled from Australia, it was amazing to see the smiling and welcoming faces of the concierge and front desk staff. They were thorough, quick and efficient. The hotel itself was immaculate, I don't know what the other reviews are talking about saying it's not up to scratch. As a normal, middle class family, who doesn't regularly stay in hotels like this we were absolutely blown away by how amazing everything was - the pool area, the rooms, the restaurants, I cannot speak highly enough.We stayed in a sea view room, the sunset views were incredible and the beds and sheets were super comfortable. My wife mentioned she hadn't slept that well in years. The pool was the absolute highlight of the trip and my kids utilised the waterslide from the minute it opened till closed. The fire pit for marshmallows and S'mores were just another finishing touch during winter to make our stay amazing.I could not recommend this hotel more highly for families and I dream one day we'll get to come back here.

The only 'downside' is that the hotel was so amazing, that my kids did not want to leave. So we didn't get to explore as much of San Diego as we would have liked. But we had an incredible few days by the pool and waterslides of this amazing hotel.
