Nice open room, good view, and large, comfortable bed.

When we checked in, the staff member said that breakfast was included (i.e., free). At checkout, I ended up with an 88 euro bill for the breakfasts and the checkout staff was completely indignant saying, "No one gives free breakfast" which is not true.

Breakfast has been amazing, the spread was quite well. Breakfast location was great. The stay Location was alright, Quite peaceful. Away from the city but it was expected. Room was decent. Beds were clean. One of the receptionists was very friendly.

Definetly not worth the cost. Room was old which is okay but the floor carpets were sticky. And the room looked bigger in the pictures and though we paid for the room with garden view, dint see any view. As it was almost midnight checkin, we did not ask after we got the keys. Paid parking was on the expensive side.

one room wasn't clean, a lot of dust.under the bed, there were snacks and leftovers.the extra beds are very small.

Classy German charm in a nice, quiet location. Breakfast is well stocked. Bathroom comes with a bidet!

Quiet, clean and friendly hotel.

It was fantastic. So comfortable and quite very, very clean . The staff were so helpful as strangers to Germany they helped by making suggestions for day trips and how to navigate public transport. Daphne one of the receptionists was so delightful and friendly , she was very patient with us .

No tea and coffee facilities

Very clean room , very nice personal, everywhere green in the surroundings- we had a great stay at this hotel .

Breakfast : warm dishes getting cold quickly. I would recommend to clean the floor often, since we saw the same dirt on the same spot on the floor ..

Quietness Forest&Nature around, good busconnections to the city, very close to the UKB (university hospitals)

Location in the forest.Spacious room. Breakfast on the restaurant terrace with view to the Siebengebirge.Small Terrace at the room.Next to the university clinics on the Venusberg. Good bus connections to the city center.

The location is excellent, it's very easy to get into the Eifel region. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large, everywhere was spotlessly clean and it's nice to have a balcony for a little extra room.

We were surprised to find that we had to pay for parking (€15 a night) on the hotel's own land. On busy nights there were no spaces left. The underground car park has limited headroom so you cannot use it if you have a taller vehicle. There was no kettle in the room so you cannot make tea or coffee. We'd prefer it if smoking was banned on the balconies and at the front of the hotel. The curtains smelt of cigarette smoke and we had to use Febreeze to mask the odour. Smoke can drift into the rooms from other balconies and the front of the hotel. There is a table and chairs just outside reception where people congregate; on summer nights when you're obliged to leave the windows open (there is no air conditioning) it can be quite noisy. I would guess that rooms overlooking the terrace (rear of the hotel) would also be noisy. I would recommend asking for a room on one side of the hotel if you want peace and quiet. €24 for breakfast is expensive! Seeing as we had to pay for parking, breakfast was unaffordable.

Always a warm welcome. Staff are great. We had a surprise BBQ which was great!

The Air-Conditioning in the room did not work.

Sadly the Airco didn’t cool like an airco is supposed to. It is really hot in the room

At this price, restaurant was of low quality. Staff nice but facility is very under-staffed. Place was nice years ago. Now just on its way to an over-priced, run down brand hotel. Shame on the management
