The hotel offers a beautiful and spacious environment with outstanding amenities, including multiple pools and a variety of restaurants, contributing to a lively atmosphere. While some reviews highlight issues with room cleanliness and staff service, many guests appreciate the comfortable beds and ideal location. Overall, the hotel is described as well-managed and enjoyable, though some guests feel the high prices do not match the quality of their stay.

room was spacious. Facing the ocean.
none of the windows could be opened even a tiny bit. They charged me extremely high price but refused to provide even a cup of tea making facilities or even a bottle of water for free. Extremely overpriced 100 dollars for a bottle of vine. My flight was cancelled due to bad weather, Booking.com washed their hands asking me to deal with the hotel and hotel said it is only the booking.com can do anything about re-arranging my stay- but they both played me back and forth and I ended up paying for a day I did not stay in that extremely expensive hotel. Anything you buy from the cafeteria, they add tax and gratuity and also ask us to give an additional gratuity- ridiculous. Beggars or robbers in disguise. Disgusting. They need to learn the decency from Japan.

The hotel is beautiful rooms (beds) are comfortable ..The hotel itself is legendary and full of history. Some of the greats stayed and performed here Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis…hotel is set on a gorgeous beachfront!
First off I would like people to know you will be charged a ridiculous holding fee at check in . So for us it was almost $4500 times two rooms ontop of the price for the room so be prepared to be charged a huge holding/resort fee before they charge your room or ontop of what you already paid for your accomodation and a resort fee will be charged as well. Again we paid $4500 on top per room plus accommodation price.I was told at booking I would get a resort credit we had two rooms so two resort credits that we never received which was disappointing .Location TOO FAR from everything no restaurants close by, you must uber to restaurants, cafes , no supermarkets around no shopping …so far to walk to anything. Restaurants in the hotel opened at 5-6:00. Mirabella Italian restaurant tiny portion pasta we left hungry and spent $500 for the 4 of us.. Breakfast restaurant was good again expensive each person was close to 100US per person for breakfast? Steakhouse was crazy expensive we didn’t bother going our friends went and said it cost them $2000 for their family to eat there . Insane pricing. The hotel is nice and beach is fantastic but I would never go back Too bad if you’re hungry only chez bon bon their cafe was open all day so if you’re hungry sadly you have to uber to a restaurant or wait until their over priced restaurants open in the hotel that are ok tasting but a complete RIP OFF!

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. Hakkasan and Prime54 was worth the visit.
Hotel had a city ordinance they had to comply with requiring construction to the main pool- the construction I saw required a minimum of 3 weeks of preparation, no one told us at check-in or after it started- we had to ask and then were lied to claiming it was an emergency repair. This was not an emergency and they didn't communicate with guests or set expectations. Imagine going to a resort for the amenities and the amenities not being available for use! Staff was also confused as well we were told the kiddie pool was closed too but it wasn't and we woke up to jackhammer noises which we thought were in the floor above us and were initially told there was construction in our building and a manager later told us there wasn't. The noise woke us up at 8 am every day when we were on vacation and trying to sleep in. They did change our room but only after we complained. Mirabella served us old red meat apparent by the smell and toughness. We ordered room service and it arrived all kinds of wrong and missing milk for the kids cereal which took another 40 minutes to be brought up- with hungry kids. Overall just supremely disappointing.

The standard two Queen room was spacious enough with extremely comfortable beds. Stand up shower was roomy with good water pressure. Stayed in the Chateau (main) tower. Pool area and amenities were striking.

Staff mostly friendly. Food and beverage incredibly high priced but good for a,1500 room mass market hotel.
Room was tired and dirty. Broken glass on floor, ratty carpets, body hair in bathroom from prior guest, USB on radio broken, other electric outlets broken, saggy mattress. Not 5 stars in no way... shameful. Had one bad staff not want to deliver proper bedding for the child's sofa bed. Never ever again...
