Staff were friendly, spa facilities, pool, and bar/eating areas very nice.

Toilet was difficult to use, on check out others reported same (long term thick layer of limescale within toilet and very poor flush).Payment app failed to work at any point- for bar, spa, treatment bookings.Only seemed to have vegan food on room service on the sat night?Saw that there was a 645 available to eat and so we quickly went to bar for food. Sat down to be rushed and asked to order asap as busy - yet time was available on booking app. There was an event happening so I get your busy but we've also paid as hotel guests to stay for the weekend. Also kids from the event kept running up and down the hallway, I spoke to them to stop, but they would have been running back and forth past reception so I was a bit peeved that the staff hadn't said anything and I had to go out to ask them to be quiet and stop slamming doors.

The bed was great. The view from my room was also good. The reception staff was more than helpful. The bathroom was lovely equipped. Spot on!

Staff and restaurant were great, weloming, very comfy bedroom, and evening meal was delicious. Mia in the restaurant was great.

The spa was tired, there were floor tiles missing and you could catch your bare toes on the holes, the jacuzzi - which I'd specifically chosen the spa for - was not working, the pool was a tad chilly.

Staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing. An ideal location for a chill weekend.

We expected the paper to be delivered to the room but it was waiting at reception, which was fine.

Two female staff on reception this morning were abrupt rude and over charged us with little apology. They tried to charge us for a spa we hadn’t used and were unapologetic when the mistake was pointed out. The tv had no signal so no channels available. When informed reception again no apology and just said they would inform maintenance. I took a picture as evidence. For £200 a night with no tv channels and poor reception staff it was absolutely not worth the money

Stayed for a wedding as guests, was very convenient to the barn location which was fantastic. Staff in the bar and breakfast area, were great and it's clear these areas have been recently renovated to a high standard.

Front desk staff were not that friendly, you have to pay extra to use the spa. Expensive for what you get - our room was one of the older ones and incredibly hot. Window only opened ajar and the AC didn't work.

The bath was cloggin up but the stay before this has been really good as the staff upgraded us and didn’t charge for spa I appreciate them

Location is great with quick access to the M4 and plenty of parking with electric charging should you need it. Room was lovely, we went for a suite as was a special occasion and this provided lots of space with everything clean and looking like it had been refurbished recently as did the rest of the hotel, restaurant and bar. Standout for the visit was the restaurant. The food was amazing and thoroughly recommend visiting for this alone.

It is not a big thing but when you spend a relatively large amount on a stay as you do here, I would expect use of the pool to be included in the price. We did not use the spa but just the pool to go swimming with my young daughter and were charged £20 when checking out. It just seems rather odd to charge those who are staying at the hotel for use of the pool, especially for a hotel at this price point.

Don’t stay here

I parked at the upper level but when I tried to go in, a staff member opened the door and said I had to walk all the way around. Too bad they didn’t put a sign on the door. But even better, just make it an access since it is right by the parking. Also when I tried to use the gym a few minutes early, I was told it opens at 7am, even though everything was unlocked. When it finally did open, the young lady said just get a towel and didn’t even bother to give me a card so I could lock my locker. Very lazy and poor customer service. All other hotels I have stayed in open the gym at 6am or are 24 hours. This helps guests get their workout done before it gets too late. The dinner at the restaurant is very expensive and just ok. It’s £20 for a Caesar salad. Also I had to go up and ask for water because our meal had already came out and they forgot to bring it . And for some reason the outside area is closed for a party all three days we stayed there. We had to be moved to a handicapped room because the air conditioning was not working in a large part of the hotel. And for some reason you have to flush the toilet about 4 times to get it to flush. Breakfast was OK, but it was super noisy from all the kids.
