Location. View from our balcony was awesome. And you could sing along with all the apre-skiers slamming drinks at the bar below.

I wish the stairs had railings.

Typical Swiss mountain hotel room with legit Matterhorn view. Easy walk from train station and roughly half way between the two lift stations. Bus stops very close. Very nice restaurant owned by hotel on-site. Typical varied and tasty breakfast. Reasonably priced for Zermatt.

A bit confusing at self check-in initially, but popping in to the restaurant sorted out questions. No hotel day staff exists (though ok for us). The electronic keypad outdoor door on the ski room (across street in a small building) was very stubborn in cold weather and took about 5-10 minutes to open at check-in. Noisy bar across from rooms but quiet from 7 pm.

Zermatt is a nice town. Just the small car free town to move around. Nothing much if you do not want to go to Mt Matterhorn. This hotel location is fantastic. In the middle of the town. Next to a happening pub- Harry's Bar, where I can enjoy the nice music in my room or enjoy the music at the balcony. The pub close early though. I don't hear any noise after 9 plus at night. The whole street become very quite. This hotel is small. Just few rooms. Room size is good. Spacious. It provide few things which you need in the room. Coffee machine, tea, kettle, bed room slippers and simple breakfast which is nice. The coffee aunty is nice and friendly. She take care of the room cleaning too. I stayed there for 2 nights. Room is comfortable and cozy with attached bathroom. Unblock Matterhorn view from my balcony. You are allowed to leave your luggage in the café and main door is locked with pin lock. The only issue is there is no lift in this small 2 storey plus attic hotel. My room is on the 2nd floor. It is challenging to carry my 28" heavy luggage up the narrow staircase. It is also short walk to the Train Station.Surrounded by eateries and shops. Migros Supermarket is just round the corner. This hotel itself has a restaurant too.Although I find the room rate at a high side but it is worth the stay. I had a wonderful 2 nights there.

Perfectly located in the center of town! Very cute Swiss Chalet still hotel, beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the views from our room. Staff were great as well. No complaints

My only complaint was water leaked down the side when we had shower. Managed to put a towel on the side to stop the water getting in the floor

Staff were great/helpful. Very clean. Easy check in. Good view of the Matterhorn. Restaurant looked very busy, probably good.

The hotel located near the center of the town which is convenient. The hotel room has its own sink which is great and the view outside of the window is good. However one of their staff kept on asking if I have paid city tax every time she met me. She asked me four to five times during my one night stay which makes me feel uncomfortable as I already paid at the first place and another reception lady already took a photo of my receipt during check in. I didn’t get what’s the keep on asking city tax for? The room floor was not vacuum cleaned but the shared bathroom was good cleaned.

absolutely stunning. we stayed in room four and the large balcony in the front was all our. amazing unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. three minute walk to the micros grocery store and 8 minute walk to train station. I can’t wait to stay here again.

some guests are a bit noisy past 10pm. there should signs of quiet hours everywhere as some people are so loud that they forget they aren’t the only ones staying there.

Location was great. I enjoyed being in the center of town but away somewhat from the commercial area. Very convenient to walk everywhere I wanted to go. Room was comfortable and very clean. I had a small balcony with a view of the Matterhorn (when it decided to show itself). The room was a good value although the breakfast that I paid extra to have was limited, but I did get a really nice cappuccino.

Hotel does not have a staff person present through the night and access to the building needs to be tightened up. We had an incident with someone who was not supposed to be in the hotel getting in during the night.

The location was great . The room very clean .

No elevator ; although we didn’t need it no AC or fan in the room .
