Rooms need refresh badly and a thorough cleaning including mold and grout and calk to keep ants away.

I liked the location and the fact it is a historical building.

The fact it is was built in the 1800s you could hear everything, no installation between the floors and walls. But luckily when I did spend some down time in the room, others were not in their room where I could hear them.

Location, Bay Head, NJ. Continental breakfast was excellent re selection, convenience. Staff was visible and always helpful.

Parking is on street.

The love that owners and staff pour into personal touches and attention make this a must-return destination. Spectacular salmon dinner on the porch with pooch on lap. Bikes to ride through town. Sunrise on the beach a block away. Home away from home.

If you are offended by less-than-new, do us all a favor and stay at some souless corporate conglomerate. This relaxed Victorian Inn and Restaurant has character. A real, vibrant presence. If you like this kind of thing, you won't want to leave. We didn't.

The staff was the best I have ever encountered.. Most hotels/Inns that accepts pets are really crappy and run down. This Inn was lovely, clean and friendly to my dog rather than indifferent as others I have stayed at.

The room was on the small side, but what the heck¿ it¿s an old, historic building.

Very very tired looking. Looks as though it has had nothing done to it since 1950. Really unattractive looking!

I think the room rate could have been lower, especially for this time of the year.

We were only at the hotel to sleep and have breakfast, as we had family that we were visiting.

The staff was amazing and so hospitable. They wanted your stay to be great and were helpful with answering questions and making suggestions.

The room was a little cramped for 2 adults and 2 teens. It would of been better if our girls were younger. I think adding this in the description for the rooms would help. But that said, we loved staying here and would definitely do it again.
