Hospitality, good service, great place for her location, nice view,....free breakfast, internet,parking.

Great friendly personable owner with lots of knowledge about the area. Good location. Delicious breakfast. Lots of fresh towels. Very quiet stay.

Uncomfortable beds - one double (too small for 2 people) and one bunk bed.Low water pressure at night so unable to fill Jacuzzi tub.

Sea view

We were too late in the season, restraunt was closed. Would be good to know ahead of time Pictures do not show the staircase up the back of the property. We are seniors. Hard to lug bags up.

The breakfast as well as supper was incredible. I took the recommendation for supper and loved the Blackened Salmon.

There are no complaints at all.

Cute building, clean and comfortable rooms, well-equipped little kitchens, good location very close to water.

The common areas (kitchens) were a bit worn with not so clean floors. Guests bring in sand so I’m sure it’s hard to keep it clean. I swept our kitchen floor so I could walk on it with no shoes. No breakfast.

The breakfast was adequate considering the circumstances. The location was perfect for what we had planned for this mini-vacation.

Unfortunately because of circumstances beyond the owner's control, the restaurant wasn't open for supper.

the shower head needs to be fixed, it’s close to breaking of the hose. but it was still working fine for us

The home made breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a family room. It was large amd comfortable.The bay was just across the street.Breakfast was great. I loved the fruit.TV had good movie choices. The grounds were spacious.

I found $25 plus tax expensive for the charge to have my shitzsu stay with us ; Also, the machine was one of those looking for a tip - hardly necessary for this surely.

Some spring cleaning of cobwebs

Proprietor was there to greet us despite our being late and he was very friendly and helpful. Room and beds were comfortable and clean.

Contential breakfast was lovely - home made croissants, good coffee, water, juice, Danishes, cereal and beautiful display of fruit. Host was lovely to speak with and learn from. Nice invitation to view their gardens. We ran out of time to see them. So nice that their future plans for the property were described. the visit was a treat for sure. Netflix worked with ease. Room and furniture was comfortable. Hospitality was excellent!

Would have liked to have been able to sample the Chef's but do also understand his need to heal - perhaps another time. It still was a treat to meet and chat with him.

We chose the location due to its proximity to Bouctouche and events in Ste Marie.

The room was clean, but humidity left an odour. There were few electrical outlets. Lighting was not good. Doors did not open cleanly. The grounds were not being kept up. The place felt tired and neglected. We love the area and the inn has so much potential. We wish the owners the best of luck in restoring the property to its past glory.

Not recommended

Shabby, not maintained, no restaurant, exterior stairs unsafe, broken window in room. We did not stay. Expensive! No refund!

Netflix in the bedroom

Room was upstairs, steep outdoor stairs. Info about wifi and surroundings was missing. Operator or manager took 20 hours to respond to my email asking for wifi password. Towels were rough and old. Room was very cramped. Large closet where a frigobar could have been placed, instead there was an ironing table! Coffee maker almost behind TV.

The Saturday breakfast was tasty and hot. The dining room was nice and the location was great.

There were no condiments served with breakfast, like jam, cream and sugar. The Sunday buffet had a lot of choice, however, they need new equipment to keep the food warm. We were there when they opened for 9:00 a.m. therefore would expect hot food.The room with the spa tub was difficult to get in and out of.The mattress was worn and had a big sag in the middle of it.

Beautiful area, but bushes outside room blocked the sea view we paid for.Comfortable bed and chairs in the room.Dinner was very disappointing after reading great reviews of Chef Carson.
