Re-opened in May 2017, Schlosshotel Romanshorn is located in a historic castle dating from 1404 right on the shore of Lake Constance. It offers a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and a balcony with views of the lake in each room. The restaurant serves modern Swiss and international cuisine and has a terrace overlooking the lake. The rooms at the Romanshorn Schlosshotel include a TV and a bathroom with hairdryer. The Romanshorn Train Station is a 7-minute walk away and provides direct connections to Zurich, 1 hour away.

- We stayed at Hotel Inseli. The receptionist was terrific. She anticipated our every need and made us feel welcome. The restaurant was awesome the atmosphere and the staff. My husband worked at the Ritz Carleton in Boston Massachusetts for 10 yrs and he believes the receptionist is one of the best in the industry.
- It was very peaceful and relaxing.
- Booking.com had confirme my booking from 20th to 21st August. However, this hotel is CLOSED on Tuesdays,

- We liked everything!
- They advertise lake view rooms, but its not a direct view of the lake, more from the balcony. Not quite what I expected.
