By the sea. Reasonable stop in drive from Sydney to Melbourne.

Minimal wifi, cockroaches.

Room was lovely, overlooking the water. The pool was great, so was the pool food menu. The breakfast options were also great. We couldnt get into Rick Steins for dinner, so we had dinner at rooftop bar and grill at the Pavillion and had a great meal.

A bath in our room would have been great.

Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay. The property is so private and it is a joy to go to sleep listening to the waves. The room was lovely and the food was fantastic!

IT Is Lovely. All the staff were very friendly. I did think for the money it may have been a little more of 'An Experience'. We were there for 2 nights. Not much option for dining if you were there longer. Food around the pool was really good But small menu, if you'd had it for lunch 2 days you really didn't want it for dinner. We dined in The restaurant which was lovely but its more expensive, so 2 dinners here is at a cost. It would be nice if there was a different menu for dinner by the pool. I think a small touch like a cool face washer or Fruit something a little extra would make a big addition. We did love our stay thanks to the staff.

For $1765.00 for 2 nights I just felt it was nothing extra than a nice hotel.. Nothing to make it feel like it was an experience.

Love our room and pool area.

At breakfast, the pineapple juice was from a tin, it tasted awful. I juice fresh pineapple ? all the time at home, it’s not difficult or expensive.

The breakfast was lovely. Staff were exceptional. And the location of breakfast overlooking the gardens is a beautiful spot. Very comfortable bed and able to sleep with door open to enjoy the sea breeze was absolutely beautiful. Lovely balcony overlooking pool and ocean. Lovely infinity pool at a beautiful temperature, with a great pool bar service. Pool bar provided lovely, relaxed meal options. The overall experience is luxurious and relaxing.

It was extremely overpriced, to be fair.The fridge is extremely small in the room and there is no freezer.. not entirely happy with the cleanliness of the room.

The location is stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The infinity pool is spectacularThe breakfast was good with a large selection of hot and cold choices. Coffee was good.

The whole place was worn, tired and dated. The room was ok but very worn and needed a revamp, outdated i.e. no usb sockets. One of the basins in the bathroom was very cracked which looked dreadful and is probably unhygienic. Lighting was dreadful. Awful bedding, basic type not luxury at all. Not enough sunbeds for guests. The building felt like a 1970's motel being set around a car park. Outlook from the rooms was great overlooking the garden and sea.In my opinion it was overpriced for what you get @ £500 per night

over priced accommodation, the quality of the accommodation, breakfast not being included even though I paid over $1000 for one night

The ocean view was beautiful and the staff were excellent

The room felt like a motel room even down to hearing next doors TV all night. The toilet was in the shower, so didn’t live up to the price tag. They also didn’t replace tea bags when they serviced the room

Beautiful outlook over the ocean, could hear the waves, see the whales. The balcony was perfect. the room was quiet, the bed comfortable. Water bottles, magazines, blanket and couch, along with the desk for WFH was perfect.

I needed a couple of other options for pillows, I am very sensitive to pillow height and needed a softer option

Location was fantastic! Water views were beautiful and the pool bar was such a nice way to unwind

Was very well decorated and very clean. Floor heating in the bathroom was amazing.

I was on the bottom floor which was a bit of a shame as I could not really see the beautiful view that I would have see from a higher level.

The view of the ocean is absolutely beautiful! The pool bar was a really nice spot to eat by the pool. The rooms are spacious and it’s such a relaxing spot!

The rooms and the restaurant (rick steins and where breakfast is located) is a bit dated and stuffy for the price point, especially when compared to Port Stephens. If the Pavilion was placed where By the Sea is located, it would be amazing. The pool and the views don’t otherwise justify $700/night.

Location was nice

The screen door didn’t work properly. There was a bunch of moths/ mosquitoes that got into the room.
