The location for us was great because it was near the Francigena trail. The room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast was included in the price.

Wi-Fi was not working

Staff was incredibly helpful and went out of the way to help us with a very late check-in. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel location is very approachable to Lucca.

The location was great. The staff was very helpful. It is an aging hotel that needs a little upkeep. Price was fitting for location.

Couldn’t get lights working in main room at first , there was no one there when I got there . I had a code though via what’s app and my key in an envelope in counter which was good . Rita helped me later to get the light working . She also suggested nice places to eat . She was very kind .

We were a group of 6 with many questions and needs. We had bikes to store and the staff was super helpful. Great place in a little town. Close to grocery and pastries. Thank you!

The hotel is fine for a one night stay on the Via Francigena. The breakfast was very good which made up for a hotel which is generally a little tired and due for refurbishment. That said everything worked as it should.

Dirty, wall paper peeling. We were given the wrong door code to get in by Booking.com and had to wait outside for an hour. Then we were let in by an unhelpful receptionist

Staff very kind and good selection for buffet breakfast: yogurt, cereal, sweets, coffee, tea, juice.

The man at the counter was very welcoming and helpful regarding where to buy tickets for and catch the bus.

The description said there were views from the window of the room, there was not. The description said toiletries were included - there was a combination hand, hair, and body dispenser near the hand basin but the one in the shower was empty. The plaster on the walls was cracked and falling off.

It is a tired hotel in terms of its furnishing and immediate location however this did not hamper us for a one night stay and it really was great value for money . Thank you for your service and

Breakfast buffet was good. Plenty of food to fuel our walk for the day. The location was also excellent with bakery, restaurants, grocery store, and bars within 5 minute walk. I would describe the hotel as 3.5 stars--nothing fancy but adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend.

The key to the room didn't work. I'm glad there was another woman staying at the hostel. There were several men who lived there. I wish they told us that. I would have been upset if I was the only woman there. I don't know if the woman who checked us in would have told me if I was the only woman.

Room key didn't work. I felt unsafe. Not the facility's fault. There were village festivities going on. Music and singing until 1 am. Couldn't sleep at all. Hostel is on the bridge and faces the road. Can hear people talking as they walked on the street.

Easy to find if you are walking the Francigena. Lovely welcome, comfortable, clean.
