Sandos Finisterra All Inclusive

Sandos is directly across from the Marina and Plaza. We could walk there each day. We rented charters on three different days, so the location made it easy. We didn't have to pay taxis $20-$30 each way to take us back and forth. Loved Sandos

We enjoyed everything about this resort

The location was great - on the beach and we had a beach view. Hotel was walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

The food was disappointing (except for breakfast buffet at Don Diegos!) and for this, I am not sure if we would visit since it is an all-inclusive location and I would have liked the opportunity to have decent food while staying at the hotel.

Spacious resort and room, fantastic location away from the craziness of town and very clean. Staff was absolutely wonderful & accommodating. Lots of activities.

Food options were okay/Drinks inconsistent. Could be improved. Lunch was SUPER limited. The Italian place had the best food for dinner but SOOO slow due to being understaffed. The one restaurant we were most excited about (Tortuga), we had our worst food.

The location was great

The room fan rattled, the AC had a big glowing number on it that lit up the whole room like the rising sun all night long, the TV kept popping up an alert asking for permissions, the food was mostly bad.

Most of the staff was very nice and seemed to really enjoy their job.

I only ate at the resort and didn¿t drink any tap water but I was very sick by day 2 and have been sick for a week. Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor and I¿ve already missed 3 days of work.

The location is okay

AC broke down in 96 degree heat, refused any compensation, constant nagging from employees

The comfortable beds and close proximity to the marina.

The food was not good. The room is very outdated.

The location, close to the marina, restaurants and shops was the best feature of this hotel.

Rooms are dated, especially bathrooms. Considering that we paid around --- dollars per night, it was a very disappointing experience. Service is generally very slow, food below average, the festive dinner on the beach was served basically cold.

I liked the location, spa was excellent.

They were relentless in pushing you into their timeshare/membership seminar that promised to be 90 minutes but as others have warned will be a minimum of 3hrs. Just say 'NO' over and over.

The food was just average. If you wanted to sit at the pool and quietly read, that was challenging.

The location diversity of environments was very good. Beautiful views of the city, garden and water throughout the property.Cupcake cafe was excellent for coffee & pastries, but you may want to skip the sandwiches.

1. Building wide plumbing and power problems brown outs). 2. Water was unavailable for extended periods of time, forcing paid activities to be rescheduled. 3. Our A/C unit shutdown several times, which made for 2 extremely uncomfortable nights.4. Room service meals were unacceptable, except for pizzas and salads. Meals at other restaurants were good. Witnessed many rooms where guests left dishes in the hallway, barely touched.

sea food restaurant is not good as I expected especially Pad Thai noodle tasted bad. food and service meet my exceptions for their Italian restaurant.

Some restaurant waiters provide very poor service, serving the food before the drinks.Asian food is scarce and cannot meet our needs.

room size was good. bed was good. The rest of the furniture need to be replaced.

After one night I got the room I had booked. I use a wheelchair and need to have a walk in shower. The shower I had was awful. A slight dribble of water and not at all conveniently placed for a person with disabilities. It took me nearly one hour to wash the shampoo out of my hair. In addition the water temperature was not consistent. To add to the problem there were cockroaches in the room. I don't think I'll be back.

The room had an ocean view and was great. The food options were excellent.

The personal items in the shower were my least favorite (body wash/ shampoo etc)

Breakfast was always very good and the service staff were extremely polite. The location was great. We were able to watch the whales from our room or the beach. The ocean view was good.
