The staff was extremely friendly and helpful through email and in person during our stay.

The water temperature fluctuated quite a bit during showers and there was no fan in the bathroom. Parking was a challenge but that seems to be the norm in the Czech Republic.

The location was perfect. The room was spacious with a wonderful view of Prague. The breakfast, at an extra fee, was excellent. There is a train station within walking distance. I would highly recommend The Questenburg for your next trip to Prague.

Great location and spotless, beautiful historic hotel. Fits right with the vibe of historic Prague. Our room was very spacious, with high vaulted ceilings and even a little window alcove. Since we were on the ground floor, we did not have a great view of the outside, but the cute little alcove window made up for it. The staff spoke English well and were very friendly. We got a complementary bottle of wine from the attached winery as a New Years gift, which our friends were happy to take off our hands since we do not drink (they said it was very good

Unfortunately we could hear the conversations of the room next to us quite well and the sounds of flushing and showering in other rooms also, although I only experienced this is the mornings. Also, due to the age of the building and the extractor fan running in the bathroom, there was a high pitched whistling in the shower/toilet area. I did not mind the noise personally, but if you are sensitive to noise, you may want to consider this. The whistling noise was only detectable in the bathroom. When we closed the doors between the shower and the bedroom, I could not even hear him showering.

Penhaligon's toiletries no longer available, nearly breaking my neck on the slope in the room every five minutes, TV not working properly and just not a 'luxury' hotel anymore.

Incredible view from the breakfast room overlooking the city of Prague. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the staff is very kind and helpful. The city center is within walking distance - about 30 minutes downhill (and a bit longer on the way back uphill). Public transport and parking are conveniently located near the hotel.

Lovely views and room was spotless, interesting to stay in part of the Strahov complex!

Nothing - I enjoyed my stay

The situation of the hotel is unique. Great view from the breakfast room. The staff is also very careful to client satisfaction.

The isolation of our room was very poor (we could hear neighbours conversation clearly), probably due to the fact that this hotel was part of the strahov monastry. I told the staff and they moved us to a more quiet room : problem solved. Thanks again.

The beautiful location overlooking the old town, the staff were lovely, the food was amazing, and our room was very charming. This place is the best.
