The Lodge At Ventana Canyon

Room was perfect; it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The whole facility was amazing. We loved walking around the grounds which were nicely manicured and so peaceful. We also enjoyed hanging out at the pool with our family. Perfect place for all of us to have a fun afternoon.

Everything was PERFECT! Sparkling clean. Quiet. Peaceful. Serene. Beautiful room. EVERY employee was friendly and professional. Gorgeous landscaping and golf course. Safe. Plenty of easy parking. The restaurant has an interesting menu and the food is delicious. The Lodge is an MCM dream.

Staying at the Ventana was liked staying at a 1980s resort. The facilities are older but in tip top condition. The room itself was neat and clean with plenty of towels and other essentials. We stayed in a upstairs downstairs room that had a nice small kitchen area. The view of the nearby mountains was fabulous. The restaurant and bar area was great and all of the staff was friendly. The only minor negative was a little noise from adjacent rooms, but that was understandable given the older construction. Also, it’s always nice to get a little welcome treat or two, e.g. chocolate, cookies, or maybe a local Arizona bottle of wine. Oh, didn’t have time to try out the pools, courts, golf courses, or other amenities but they look super.

Loved the wine bar nearby Tinajas, worldy and local wines both drinking in and take away! Spacious & clean rooms.

Everything! Even the re-vamping of the fitness center was not bothersome. Rooms are soundproof.

Spacious room

Definitely did not feel welcomed when arriving. AC unit was so loud and needed to be turned off. Patio doors in very poor shape. Could hear lots of noises.

The room was exceptional in cleanliness, amenities and housekeeping staff. We enjoyed the surrounding areas and lucky enough to enjoy Easter Brunch and the Easter festivities for our grandchildren. Everyone from the front desk, Ventana Lodge staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view and had everything needed for a wonderful four-night stay. Thank you, Ventana Canyon Lodge, we will see you again soon!

Service was very good in the restaurants and other amenities. Recommend upgrade to mountain view rooms. Standard rooms are loud and face the parking lot.

Green fees and golf shop poor value. Both are overpriced with no discount offered to resort guests.

Lovely large room, comfortable bed, large bathroom.

Pretty far out of town. Restaurant mediocre at best.

Location was beautiful, and the rooms are a great size.

In my opinion its overpriced.
