Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Leidschendam Den Haag

This is a good location for most as its next to the Mall of The Netherlands and clise to Trans 2 and 6 whuch can take you the main station for transfers. Its a nice size property and does not feel cramped at all. Also I grew up in the area and its convenient for me personally.i

My biggest gripe is that it does not have a mini refridgerator..the rooms are big enough to relax in so it would be grwat if they had one. One smaller complaint is that the TVs are pretty small for 2025 standards....but I didnt go to NL to watch TV. :(

I liked the thoroughness of room cleaning. Front desk staff and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Closer to the mall, which suited our shopping needs.

I wished the mattresses were a bit firmer than the current ones. My mattress was a bit saggy. Also, you tube channel was not working. I had to watch Dutch television programs, which are unrelated to me as a tourist.

I like that the rooms were clean and was a nice size room

Some of the staff were not knowledgeable in handling certain situations to make the customer feel that they are there to help if needed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with hot food available too. Plenty of parking as the hotel uses the shopping mall car parks. Easy tram ride into Den Haag.

Some staff in reception weren't very friendly and didn't make you feel very welcome.

The location is perfect, next to a big retail store (AH XL) and a shopping mall.

When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was not at the front desk. I rang the bell three times before he returned — seemingly by chance — and when he saw my frustrated expression, he pointed to the bell very slowly in a sarcastic manner, as if I didn’t know how to use it. I explained that I had already rung it multiple times, but instead of offering an apology, he simply continued with his work, looking surprised and showing no effort to be welcoming. It felt unprofessional and unfriendly — not the kind of first impression you'd expect at a hotel reception.

Clean, restful and polite well mannered staff.

The check in was the only part that let ilthe hotel itself down. This took over an hour. This was not the staffs fault as i found them helpful and polite. It was simply that the reception was not set up for expedient check in.

Comfortable room with balcony in good location

There is no fridge in the room. Staff at breakfast room should be more helpful. We thought that breakfast was included and were only informed during checkout that they will charge us additional fee for breakfast.

Everything was great. The only comment I would make is that at Breakfast a lot of items were not replenished enough. Often items were not there while there were staff around who should have noticed. Everyone pays for breakfast and there should be enough items available for all and not just the first guests of the day. Quite bad on Sunday: a lot of items gone before 0830.

Location is excellent next to Mall of the Netherlands, free parking, friendly service oriented employees, rooms are fairly spacious, balcony and lake view nice.Breakfast food is good.

The front desk personnel were rude ,they made me pay more then what in the website Said and and the room half cold half warm. I had to change the room but it was the same.

Excellent location

Having to pay tourist tax in the city I live in, where other properties in the same city recognised I was a resident and did not charge me the tourist tax

Proximity to the Mall of the Netherlands

Tap water smells, an indication it may not have been treated properly. The water cistern may have been defective

The location is perfect for shopping in The Mall. Trams run to Den Haag and Delft. It's easy to travel to Scheveningen ( the sea & beach).The dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

One large slightly brighter lamp would have been welcome in the room. The other lamps were quite dim.

We have regularly used this hotel over the last 6 years. It has improved a lot during this time. The rooms have been modernised with walk in showers and the beds are very comfortable.

The disabled entry could be improved. There is a flight of stairs leading to reception, however there is an internal open lift available from another door which provides wheelchair access.

Bed was too soft, pillow was too low and no winter blankets for Southerners like me.A fridge could be useful but it's missing.
