Very spacious and comfortable room, in very good condition and quiet, which made our stay very relaxing. The service throughout the hotel was consistently great, with staff always attentive and professional. We also really enjoyed the restaurants and the breakfast, which offered good quality and variety. Overall, everything contributed to a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

There was nothing significant that we did not like during our stay. Everything went very smoothly, and we were satisfied with the room, service, and facilities overall.

I loved the breakfast. Everyone was incredibly polite. I wasn’t feeling well and housekeeping knocked on the door to see if I needed anything cleaned. When he saw I didn’t feel well, he asked if I wanted water. It was incredibly kind!

I would have liked a map of the campus.

Our stay had some great highlights and a few disappointments. The airport shuttle service was timely and efficient, and we appreciated the free bottled water provided throughout the stay. Staff were consistently polite and professional, and the rooms were clean with solid housekeeping service. Complimentary breakfast for Marriott members was a nice touch, and room service meals, though tasty, felt a bit overpriced.However, we were very disappointed to find that the kids’ club (Simba Club) and playground were closed for the entire duration of our stay — something we weren’t informed about in advance. We had chosen this hotel specifically for its child-friendly amenities, and aside from the basic kids’ pool, there was nothing else available for children. This took away from the experience significantly. With better transparency and family-friendly offerings, the stay could’ve been much more enjoyable.

Transport services were poor. They called for local taxis and charged us 20 times the local rates. I think the concierge was getting a commission.

the balcony in the rooms need to be cleaned. The room and wash rooms are cleaned very well :) but the balcony needs attention as this is a key area to watch the sunrise etc

I need to make a complaint about this Hotel Sheraton Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Booking. com my Booking confirmation was $275 Sherston charge me$399.I need to know why. they say it s service charge and tax.

Grounds are well maintained.

Room furnishings and bathroom are significantly outdated, and not maintained (furniture stained and in disrepair; bathroom tub grout black and dirty). Leak in closet wet some clothing. Hotel did launder shirt. Room Door latch for security broken. Restaurants walls had food splatter that had never been cleaned. Salt and pepper shakers were grimy, floors were grimy—needing a deep scrubbing. Chairs in restaurants heavily stained. Food in two restaurants was medicore. Definitely not five star, and should not be considered as part of the Luxury Collection.

The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The restaurants on the property are good. The ability to get out and walk is very nice. It’s a beautiful property that we will stay at again the next time we are in Ethiopia.

This is a stately hotel, with old-school vibes. Location is excellent, in the centre of Addis, but very quiet thanks to the surrounding grounds. The (heated) pool is excellent.

The hotel is at the turning point from quaint to outdated. In five years, it will either have been renovated or will be down a notch or two.

Quite possibly the best hotel in Addis Ababa. Great and helpful staff members. Lots of food options. Great location in Addis.

The Club Room could've had a couple more menu options.

The use of luxurious facilities, the conscientiousness and helpfulness of the staff, and the breakfast buffets, lunch buffets and dinner buffers which facilitate foreigners as well as to feed.

The lack of modernity of the elevators and the toilets in general (old style of toilets ? and elevators without the use of magnetic access cards). Insufficiently equipped gym.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful.

We were denied access to the 4th floor lounge which was upsetting.

Restaurant experience (breakfast). The servers were not attentive. We have to get their attention to get coffee.

The restaurants in the hotel are excellent, especially the Indian restaurant. The concierge was extremely helpful.

Very warm hospitality and the staff are doing more than what they need to do. Hotel landscape is also out of expectation with beautiful walking path for morning exercise and it's very lovely to hear the birds singing in the morning and seeing lovely garden of roses.

Electricity can be a bit challenging. Sometimes it goes up and down but at least the hotel gets the electricity up back very quickly.

I think by african standard this is the best hotel , the room were old classic but still ok , the view was great from my room, security is good but sometimes anyouing, great location.

Overall good experince if i come back i will stay here again.
