The hotel was pretty good overall. The location and views were amazing. Some things could’ve been better, like the faucets but the place had a nice nostalgic vibe. Breakfast was okay, and the beds weren’t the most comfortable

This list is long:Hotel Eden is a very expensive budget hotel between a motorway and a rail track.Old carpet floors (unhygienic), two single beds pushed together to make a double bed and contaminated water due to heavy rainfall in the previous days. Because the water was contaminated, we could neither drink the tap water nor use it for brushing our teeth. We were provided with one litre of sparkling water to brush our teeth. However, I must say here, that we could get more water from the restaurant.We were told that the water was safe for showering. Isn't that comforting?!The balcony had two chairs but no table. How can you enjoy the balcony without a table?? For SFr 170/night. We had just spent a wonderful two weeks previously at Lago d'Iseo in a one star hotel with a balcony and a direct view of the lake there. For €100/night we had much better value for our money.

Locatio Location Location.There cant be many hotels anywhere in the world with better views than this. Fantastic.The owner and her staff were brilliant , always smiling and helpful.The main hotel building is old but well maintained and has a charm about it that reminds you of times gone by, the new building, (1970's) which we stayed in was, like the main building spotlessly clean. The bedroom was large, bed comfortable and the view ....The restaurant was a bonus, fantastic food, the village is small and only 2 other places to eat, but the quality here made the decision easy where to eat.

Some people might say the facilities aren't brand new and modern, but the sort of people that say that shouldnt be allowed to stay here. This hotel is quality.

Hotel Eden is in a beautiful location in the village of Sisikon, between Flüelen and Brunnen. Many rooms have decks overlooking Lake Urner and the mountains. The rooms are large by European standards and the hotel even has an elevator. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant has a cozy, enclosed patio, and the food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

There is some noise from the highway and railway (one is on either side of the hotel). The weather was pretty hot while I was there, and there's no air conditioning nor fans.

Parking was easy, room was a nice size, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was nice. Very close to the lake where you can swim, and to a great pizza restaurant.

Lovely hotel, but very hot during the summer and they have no fans. You can only cool the room by opening the windows, which unfortunately opened directly on the train tracks, which run all night. Other than that, the location and facilities were great and the garden is beautiful.

Lovely views across the lake. Plenty of parking, fantastic restaurant, great continental breakfast.

Overlooks a railway line and on a busy road. If driving, it's on the lake-side of the road, if you miss it it's pretty much impossible to turn around so keep your eyes peeled.

An outstanding view on mountains and the lake from the room. A huge balcony to sit and enjoy this view. TV was not working, and we were not proposed any kind of small discount or some complimentary for that.Very expensive coffee when we took it during the day.

As a family of 5 we enjoyed our stay at Eden savouring the breakfast and dinner, playing with the two rabbits and sleeping confortably in our confy beds within a large room.

The location next to the lake is ideal.

We were cold in the room and they did nothing, not even telling us that they did not have any heater at our disposal. On the contrary, they told us that it was not cold. And it is true that during the day it is not cold but at night it is.The coffe and tee very bad.There is no tea water heater

the wifi signal was strong everywhere except inside the room, but I communicated this so it will likely be remedied. no other negatives at all.

Nice hotel, easy to reach with large parking; very nice view from the room, that was quiet and clean; the staff is perfect; polite, ready and fast in supporting guests; the breakfast is simple but complete; the restaurant in the hotel is simply fantastic (even if with Swiss prices...): perfect service, very good dishes and large menu, very nice staff! I really appreciated staying here and for sure I'll return; advised to all kind of travellers.

Decor is quite dated. Restaurant expensive, but our choice to eat there.

The balcony in the room had a great view to the lake. The location is also great (very near to train statioin and lake). The breakfast was also good.

The blanket/edredon was too warm for summer. On the other hand Sisikon does not have almost offer of restaurants what made me go to Brunnen (it's OK, 5min by train but only one train runs per hour).

Amazing hotel restaurant food. I tried the set 5-course menu with wine accompaniment and the dishes were not just very tasty but incredibly original. I was not expecting this from a small village restaurant, it should be given at least 1 Michelin star! The chef could easily compete with London's and Geneva's best restaurants.
