Numerous problems with the highest priced room in the hotel. The hotel is very bohemian with great touches including fountains, art, etc However, much of the hotel is tired or broken.

The room was so nice and creative, better then I expected. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a discount coupon to a very nice restaurant down the street. We had an excellent stay.

Very cute themed rooms. Overall great experience. Front desk staff are characters. Be sure to arrive early, this is a mom & pop shop not a corporate place, they appreciate punctuality. Many food options nearby.

Thin walls, there¿s a lovely water fountain for white noise but also the neighboring guests could be heard very clearly in the morning.

Dog friendly, great location. Room was clean but there are clearly some underlying issues with plumbing/structure.

Hotel needs some updates. Plumbing smelled, mattress was horrible, the garden area needs some attention. This place is overpriced.

The hotel is very charming and being a small family run business it is warm and inviting. The location is ideal - an easy walk to the ocean, dining, shopping.

What did we like best! Atmosphere! Really charming decor and ambiance, right down to the music in the lobby. Great proximity to the ocean and to Del Mar attractions (don't miss the amazing birds at Free Flight).

To go w/ all the teas, would've been nice to have a lobby hot water kettle. (There is brewed coffee every morning.) Dishes to borrow were appreciated; basics such as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, as in Airbnb places, would've been too.

We loved the overall character of the hotel and the location was perfect! The staff was nice and very helpful. The room itself had a great view, rustic charm and plenty of space for what we needed. We would definitely stay again!

The toilet in the room would not stop running and the WiFi was spotty. Also, being so close to the beach, having an option for laundry would have been nice.

Wonderful surprise, great find. Each room has unique decor. Relaxing and and refreshing break from city surrounding. Easy walk to beach and shops. Can't say enough.

What a secret little hideaway! I was not expecting such a quaint and inviting place on a business trip. Hotel employee was very accommodating. I appreciated the deeply relaxing bed and cute little alcoves of sitting areas. 5min walk to the ocean.

Probably not the best that the blinds in the window looking into the walking area do not completely shutter. Given that it was the top floor and that there are only 10 units total, not that big of a deal.

It is unique and loved having the small balcony. Beachy, not fancy. It's walking distance to shops, restaurants and hotels. We had been there once before and would probably stay at Les Artiste again.

I think they could do a better job in keeping the outside grounds up. The parking lot has a large storage container that is not attractive.

It has a very intimate feeling and even though it is close to the road you do not hear any road noise at night. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating to guests.

The staff was very kind. The room was lovely. Great dining only a few blocks away. The ocean only a short walk away. And, my mom loved it.

we had a family with kids over us and hardly slept. when we tried to nap during the day, it seemed like they had just gotten home from Sea World again! LOL. That's what we (as senior citizens) get for staying in a family hotel!

Very fun. Lots of character and charm. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
