Comfortable bed and location and great food at Resteraunt

Beautiful location

Listed as being in Banff, but it was about 1.5 hours outside the city.

Rooms are outdated and musky smelling. No cell signal and no wifi in room

it's an older place that could use some updating and the mattresses definitely needs to be replaced at least mine was not conferrable at all i did not like how i had to cook my food at the pub staff was great and made up for it

To be honest location is it's only real Saving Grace, a glorified Motel, wasn't impressed with the price $--- and we ended up right beside the smoke Pit by the pub noisy air. Crappy wifi. Everything is ( food,store) is overpriced.

It is great accomodations are offered around this location. A large stretch of this area there is nothing around. No restaurants, gas, stores etc. Development for tourism is very low and all naturally kept. Hence having at least this motel around is great

The cost of the hotel is high and understand it's August, high season. But I've never paid this much for a stay anywhere for what it is. I've been around enough middle of nowhere. Wifi can be improved with only being near pub for access

OK for a one-night stop only. No cell service and no Internet access, only at the pub(4pm to 11pm). Do NOT pay an extra for the best "balcony with mountain view", because they say "we are surrounded by mountains"... My "view" was of the parking lot

This is NOT a resort, it's a cheap motel. There is no balcony, only 1 chair by the parking. Lots of moths getting in the room. We had to spray a lot. No cleaning service, we had to ask for our garbage to be taken out and to refill our coffee.

We got very lucky with a front view of the mountains.

Very expensive restaurant, small cramped room, bed looked like linen was not changed.

I had pretty low expectations because of the reviews online. Location was key because we were driving through Jasper/Banff.

Room was pretty small. The "mountain view" was the mountains across the street, so over all of the other buildings... Not exactly what I was expecting. Food was average.

The on-site restaurant had a good band playing the night we stayed.

There was a charge for the internet ($10/night). There is nothing around the hotel, which is fine. We arrived later in evening, so we ate at the on-site pub. The food is "grill yourself" and the menu is limited.

Decent linens and mattress (though squeaky), towels were nice, toiletries nice enough. Based on the address, thought this motel was in Lake Louise. It wasn't. It's off the Icefields highway. Turned out to be a happy accident, but not what we expected.

The decor was dated (not a big deal). The bathroom was tiny. You had to cook your own food (raw burgers were brought to table) at the pub on an indoor grill and serve yourself your sides but also expected to tip on full price.

Location, service above expectations, they really know the meaning of the word hospitality. Great people at front desk, maintenance and restaurant. I'll recommend it as long as they keep that attitude.
