Hôtel Restaurant Le Mulberry Arromanches

Very nice location, near the museum, and beach, and town. Very nice breakfast was provided at a charge, and it was excellent (although I’m not sure what i paid for it, so i don’t know about value).

The room does not have certain things that would have been nice, such as refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink. The owner was nice to give me some ice to try to keep some food cold, but there is no ice machine.

Clean, warm, dry good Location, spacious room.

No parking, no kettle/tea and coffee making facilities

The owner was very nice when I arrived, he showed me where to park and changed my room so it was next to my motorbike. All the other staff were very helpfull. The bar was very interesting and almost like a mini museum. The resterant was great and I had an excelent piza. I will be back.

This hotel is ideally located for viewing the Arromanches D Day museum, and the staff was very helpful when I had trouble accessing wifi.

The rooms are fairly basic.

Good sized room for 3 adults, with king size bed and proper single bed (not sofa bed nor camp bed) and great shower. Great position in centre of town. Friendly staff.

A little difficult to park on a busy Sunday afternoon, but once ‘day tourists’ had left, we had free roadside parking behind the hotel.

I love the bathroom, spacious and clean compare to other hotel in France.We had 2 skylight in the room, facing a beautiful church tower from our bed.Helpful, the guy in the front office help us to get transportation from train station at Bayeux to Arromanches...we were panicked when we can not get taxi anywhere. Our room is on the back of the hotel, we need to access it thru outdoor stairs. Sometimes in the middle of the night we can hear people talking.

Location

No kettles, no curtains on the external door, which is directly outdoors.

Clean, spacious room. Staff very welcoming, helpful and spoke good English.

No car park with the hotel but plenty in the area.

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh

En-suite layout was cramped, had heated towel rail been on you'd have burned your leg when using the toilet.Described as a superior double but room 6 was separate to the hotel at the rear and not what I would class as anything superior about it.Attention to detail on construction looked like a DIY effort and not by a professional.

Staff were very friendly and they interacted with my family amazingly. Food was amazing and great value for money aswell

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb and pizza exceptional!

Room was suitable for our needs and comfortable. However could be improved by a mechanism to allow the skylight in the roof to remain open for ventilation and a blind. Electric socket fur bedside lamp was loose and easily fixed.

Good location, but no parking.

Very tired, almost dilapidated, accommodation, loose carpets, broken sockets and toilet flush, decoration very poor.

Tidyness was not the mottoThe rooms were not so clean. Glassets in the restaurant was for sure not clean.

The location itself is great, it's close to everything you need, yet far enough away from everything so you can relax and enjoy the silence (with the exception of the church tower right next to the place, but that does add to the local ambiance, I must say). The staff is very nice and helpful and they let you do your own thing. Since I did not use any of the dining options offered, I cannot comment on that, but the room was good, clean (cleaned daily) and everything worked (lights, shower, TV, blinds, etc.). I will definitely consider returning for my next trip to Normandy.

I wanted to check-out early (it said it was possible between 06:00 and 11:00) because I had a long trip home ahead of me, but no one was there until 08:00, which I was not too happy about. Other than that, no complaints.

After the experience in the restaurant the previous evening decided against risking it

I didn’t like the extremely take it or leave it attitude of the over laid back staff - verging on rude - having just completed a tour of 5k plus miles through 15 countries this was the most appalling reception and attitude I encountered.

Location was great, breakfast was good

Parking was limited, however this is not the fault of the hotel and paid parking is available a short walk away

This was the cheapest & best hotel of my trip, great staff, clean & comfortable room, great restaurant - best Calzone I've ever tasted, fab brekfast. Really cool interior decor and places to relax.

I got bored of Bob Marley on repeat :-)

Loved the location and the restaurant. Food was very good and reasonable. The staff was the sweetest. They waited for us to arrive on Sunday before they closed the restaurant. There is NOTHING open in Arromanches after 8:00, only a cute bar. Plan accordingly!

Towels, a little scratchy. They should add a mini fridge in the room.
