Ibis Bali Kuta Hotel

We only needed a hotel-room to sleep after a busy day of sightseeing and before our early flight the next morning. This was perfect for that. Clean, comfortable and extremely close to the airport.

We used this as an overnight stay for our lay over in Bali. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was basic but enough.

The rooms are old and dated. The bathroom's exhaust fans were not working in both rooms. Although the staff looked trying hard to maintain the cleanliness, we can see mould stain on few areas.

I didn’t like anything. Room was small, terrible, smelly, there were so many bugs. Breakfast was disaster.

I forgot my AirPods in the room when I try to call to the hotel they said we couldn’t found sorry but I exactly remember kept my AirPods on the table but due to flight timing left at the hotel. Totally unacceptable this behavior from the staff

The location and price were good

Sheets were dirty. Zero view. The noise from the rooms next door was insane

The location was great for me as it was close to the airport. I arrived late and I got a good night’s sleep before my friend arrived the next morning. I read some negative reviews about the breakfast but I loved it! I really enjoyed the Indonesian options. Everything was fresh and tasty. The outdoor courtyard was pleasant. I probably wouldn’t stay here for a holiday (no pool) but for transit it was great, especially with a 12:00 checkout. I felt safe and comfortable.

It took a while to locate my driver - he wasn’t waiting in the place I was expected. Airport wifi was patchy so I had trouble using WhatsApp to communicate. I also paid twice because I was half asleep. I gave the driver money, then the hotel asked for payment. It wasn’t a huge amount though but it would’ve been good to have clear payment instructions.

it would have been nice to have a fridge, The staff at front desk when checking out was asleep and we had to call out several times - the cook came out and had to go and wake the front desk person at 4.30am

The breakfast was by far the best we have had in Bali. As a Westerner that loves Indo food, the breakfast was considerably an Indo breakfast (eggs any style were available if you wanted them) and very well done with lots of variety.

The A/C in the room was very noisy. The bathroom is very squishy. The curtains are falling apart.

Close to airport is the only redeeming quality of this hotel.

The room smelt of mould, the bathroom is horrible. The price was a rip off. The beds are uncomfortable. I only booked this for a few hours as a transit hotel and regretted it as soon as I opened the door of the room. Will never book another ibis hotel again. There is another hotel a block away that is half the price and actually a nicer hotel, do not book this Ibis hotel even just for a short transit.

They could accept the last minute booking. Close to the airport.

Unfortunately, the room had a dense smell of cigarettes. The air conditioner was only making the smell works as it was circulating the same air- by switching it off, we had to stay over night in 29 degrees Celsius, hence didn’t get to have a proper sleep. The toilet was not properly sanitized and so it also smelled you can guess how. The cleanliness of the room was passable, but that’s just it. Water from the boiler was not fresh, we had to take the bottled one which imposed additional charges. Definitely not expected and I we were not in shape to argue about it. Interestingly, I didn’t receive the payment confirmation when checking out and cover the water costs by cash - not a big deal for me personally, but..

The room was nothing like expected. Drain didn't work. Water remained while I showered. Slip hazard when I used the toilet. No complementary water left. Room didn't feel tidy.

Many of the airline stewardesses and pilots stay here. great breakfast buffet. outdoor courtyard.

Parking garage was very small and you have to be lucky to get a place. Breakfast with only local food.

Breakfast looked ordinary so did not try it. Went outside

Had coffee, was pretty bad, not palatable. Too milky not temperature hot, no equal

Perfect for a first day stay in Bali and it’s close to the Kuta Square and staff was very courteous and helpful.

Lots of ants in the room,bed and bathroom. Also had trouble regulating the aircon . Not wild about the breakfast

Close to the airport to a passenger stay. Some bars and restaurants around. Just that.

The worst Ibis I stayed in my all life. Dirty, bad beds, tinny bathroom. Impossible to stay for more than one night.
