Cons -
- We had booked half board and when we arrived were told there was no food that night and we could discuss with the manager the next day about a refund for the food We were on a bike and it was raining, had to walk into the town for food ( 10 mins away ) there was an event on so all the restaurants were booked got a 45 min slot to eat . Got 40€ back for no evening meals If we had known there was no food we would have booked somewhere else , Booking.Com and the hotels need to sort this out when offering 1/2 board
- The main problem was over booking, on the first night I received a room in another hotel, although I received 4 emails confirming the reservation. The second and most important problem was serving food (I had a half-board). Very unhelpful staff. You had to ask them to arrange your table with napkins and cutlery; if not, they throw your plate on the table without cutlery. Sometimes you didn't even get the soup. The order of drinks came to you in half an hour or even an hour and they apologized for forgetting. The third problem is that I booked a room, which was listed on Booking, but I received another instead, under the pretext that they are full. The fourth problem was the lack of a playground in the yard (which was in all the pictures and which was the main reason I chose the hotel). Not to mention the presence of dogs in the hotel that barked and woke our child and us.

A nice, comfortable hotel with a very friendly staff. Hans, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent (we ordered half board and were very happy with both the dinner and breakfast). The room was big and very clean with extremely comfortable beds. More than what we expected, will be happy to come again.
so nice owner and staff! They are really nice as persons!!beautiful/clean room, very delicious food?
Delivious breakfast and dinners. Great service and lovely people in the hotel. Amazing spa with outside jacuzzie and wooden sauna. Very cozy and relaxing time
The Brunnenhof hotel is magic, the breakfast is perfect and really good, the dinner is magnificent and all the people in the staff are welcoming and warming. A place to visit if you want to relax surrounded by mountains.
The location was nice, so was the room. Good food at the restaurant.
