The Parkhotel Mannheim is just a few minutes' walk from the main train station and the National Theater. - Best room ever!
- Had booked a large room. Arrived (winter), room had not been heated. Freezing. Was offered a suite as upgrade. This was at least warm but comprised two small rooms connected by stairs. As we only needed a bedroom, in effect we had a far worse deal. No financial compensation offered for that stay.
- Nice hotel at the heart of the city but not noisy. House keeping was OK. Did not try room service or their food in general. Friendly staff. I was given a spacious room with a view of the Wasserturm so that was nice. The toilet was small but clean and well maintained. It's value for money.
