Pros +
- The proximity of the hotel to shopping as well as eating options and to our event venue at UC Santa Cruz was the best thing about this hotel. It was also easily accessible via local highways.
- Friendly staff, who let us use their storage room for our bikes
- The pool and location
Cons -
- The room temperature was a BIG issue since the thermostat was permanently set at 75 degrees even when we set the the thermostat to 66 degrees. The rest of the hotel was much cooler than our room, and it made it difficult to get a goodnight's sleep.
- $---+ for a night was overpriced. Greedy for Hilton to charge extra for parking. (You sit on a lot of land, and not in a crowded city) Room was advertised to include breakfast, but it did not.
- Parking is ridiculous and absurd. Hidden fee and will not be returning because of that. $25 per day is criminal. Shower water pressure is hilariously bad.

The staff was friendly.
The temperature in the room would not go below 70* the entire stay, most of the time it was 71*. We were placed in an accessible room, the seat in the shower had mold growing on it, closest to the wall. The shower was too narrow. Water everywhere.
