Close to the center of Springfield, and it was nice to walk around the old Route 66. The reception on Tuesday evening was very welcoming, and she was very kind to exchange some quarters for the washing machine and the dryer. The room was spacious and comfortable, and you really feel that this hotel was built to greet all travelers crossing the nation!

Great location
Coffee machines that hotels are now using result in making cups that are just brown water. I just came off of a 2 week trip. Many, many hotels have invested in these. They are terrible!

I would have liked for there to be a place to get filtered water in the building. I would have also liked if the breakfast was a little more substantial if possible.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable.Nice large bathroom vanity. Quiet..Close to attractions.
Breakfast was pretty bad. Biscuits & gravy- the only hot item for 2 days. No eggs.Only prepackaged hard cooked eggs.
