Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences is located in Lyon, on the banks of Rhône River, 164 feet from the Halle Tony Garnier concert venue, a 5-minute walk from the Musée des Confluences and a 6-minute tram ride from the shopping center. It offers an outdoor pool with terrace and free WiFi. The air-conditioned guestrooms at the Novotel Lyon Gerland have a modern décor and feature a safe, a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV. All rooms have a kettle while the suites also have a Nespresso coffee machine. A courtesy tray and free bottle of water are also included. The Novotel Café provides a daily buffet breakfast in its dining area. The hotel restaurant serves a range of French dishes and overlooks the pool and garden. Halle Tony Garnier Tram Station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel providing direct access to Lyon Part-Dieu train station, and Perrache train and metro station. - The hotel is super clean and the the staff are so friendly and nice
- Hotel was at a nice location.
- Unfortunately our room was poorly cleaned, there hair in the bathroom from the previous guests. The air conditioning did not work, just made a lot of noise. In the room it was very warm and loud, almost impossible to sleep. Breakfast was ok. The staff was friendly.
Cons -
- When you pay more than 150 for one day stay and you sweat in the room during midnight, with AC not working and no solution upfront but only this statement that its the same in all the rooms in the hotel, you only can regret for your selection
