The Milo

The toilet seat fell off after we closed the lid, phone did not work at all, room was very small, and parking was valet only ($40) and staff did not share when asked that street parking was free around the corner.

We love everything about this hotel from the staff, location, cleanliness, comfort, you name it!

bed and pillows were VERY uncomfortable. A/C was LOUD and ineffective. fan only had one speed available and was also ineffective

this is not a 3 or 4 star hotel, but a 2 star hotel. the only good thing about it are the location and nearby city park (which the hotel makes look like part of the grounds but is in fact owned by the city)

Outdoor space and fire places. Complementary bike rental. Close to beach.

Room with a twin bed was way too small and door did not shut cause beds were in the way. Valet charge, no self parking or complementary hotel valet parking. Lack of restaurants near by that stayed open late.

Great location

Old buildings. The ancient rooms need updating and repairs. Tiles cracked, grout dirty.

The location of Hotel Milo was the best part of staying here. It?s proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping and Stearn?s wharf can?t be beat.

Poor lighting in the bathroom, bathroom was small. Pretty much room needs a facelift.

Perfect location. Across from beach. Close to Stare street and many restaurants. Across from wharf and marina.

Arrived at 11am. Wouks not let us in until 4:00. Seriously there had to be rooms cleaned before then.

A $32 per day parking fee was charged, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. Not disclosing the fee was dishonest.

The valet service and front desk staff and location!

We were given a room with a terrible view (the parking lot), whilst there was seemingly many other rooms around us still free. Our room was smaller and darker than how it was advertised. There was a drain issue and the room smelt pretty bad

The staff was great and our room opened onto a little courtyard with a view of the beach. It was quiet and peaceful with tables and a chair right out our door. Everything was walkable and that was great.

No breakfast optio

It was a beautiful room, and our favorite thing as the fireplace, which was perfect for a cold, rainy weekend.

The only major flaw, and I do say major, is the horrible internet. Ridiculous. Considering the pricing, and I am not complaining as long as you get the value you are paying for, in 2024, you need decent high speed internet. They don't have this!

The service is exceptional. In every interaction with the team from the front desk, and valet, to housekeeping and engineering, everyone was professional, kind, and responsive!

Broken shower, broken phone, room smelled like bleach, broken coffee maker¿ will never go back, will not recommend anyone who may want to visit that hotel

Simple, clean, modern decor. Loved the high ceiling in my room too.

Not really.

On the beach

It's really a motel. With a walk in the dark at check in a block away to an unsecured building. There was a key card entry in the front, but the gate from the back alley is wide open. Room is small. Bathroom door is old and does not shut all the way.
