Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown

The hotel was nice.

The valet was no where to be found. When entering the facility I smelled Marijuana.ghe front desk staff was not helpful at all

Location was great. It was located downtown Jackson. Great surrounding restaurants, bars, and museum.

I thought the hotel was nice and for the most part my stay was good.

My stay was great until I checked out I didn't get the room rate I was over charged. The desk clerk said she couldn't fix it the office would have fix it.Once I got home I checked my charges to find out I was charged twice for the room different amounts. Desk clerk said she could not fix charge I would have to call back on Monday for Management to fix. Called Monday clerk on duty told me that was the correct charge $664.56. Should have been $603.56 minus $50.00 for incidentals. I was charged $603.56 and a additional $664.56 on my credit card and no one was willing reverse charge on my account. I can't believe the desk clerk cannot reverse the charges and have to rely on customer to call back after leaving hotel to resolve problem. I left my phone number with clerk for Management to call me to resolve this issue.

The bar and grill had good good and good service. The hotel is very nice.

Our room had no coffee. I asked for some at the front desk and was told it would be sent up . I never received it . And the parking is not included in the hotel price. It was a separate charge $28

I liked the location

There is hardly any towels in the room. They said they had a working hot tub and pool, but did not. Both pool and hot tub are ice cold, and neither one had a working heater.

My room was not clean prior to my arrival.I had hair in the tube and sink. The website said free breakfast but it was a fee for that once I got the hotel. I was not aware of the parking . Had to pay a total of $70 for parking and tips. I had to come out of pocket for additional things such as parking fee, breakfast for me and my kids and the room was not clean prior to my arrival.
