Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown

Quiet, non-trendy property is good for resting and sleeping. Bartender and room service are friendly.

Room wasn¿t ready at 3pm. No effort to find cleaned room. Didn¿t tell me when room was ready; had to inquire myself. Some furnishings old and stained. Facilities were sub-par for a Meridien - it felt and looked like a 3-star property. Weird location.

Beautiful facility centrally located in downtown Philly. Access (walkability, short rides) to a lot of a different attractions was a big positive.

The first night when we went to bed, noticed that the fitted sheet was not on the mattress, just the flat sheet meaning we had to use the comforter as the only layer of cover...rectified the following day.

The bathroom had no trash can, the TV would not connect to my mobile devices, there were no black out curtains, one window did not have a shade so the sun shined in the room in the morning, HVAC system made loud buzzing noise evetime it turned on.

Room was clean with modern decor. Lots of electrical outlets and usb ports in the room for charging.

Showing some wear and tear. Walls were dinged up and carpet was stained. Could use touch up paint and a deep carpet cleaning.

Nothing good about this hotel at all. The staff was rude, unhelpful and poorly equipped to deal with any issues. Most importantly, OUR HOTEL ROOM WAS NOT SERVICED AND CLEANED before our visit. They refused to give us another room or refund us.

Our room was DISGUSTING! There were gross stains on the beds, disgusting white stains on the mirror, food in the carpet, hairs in the bathroom and no shower liner! Housekeeping never came. They ignored us and finally gave us liner at midnight.

The hotel is right downtown and is nice and chic. The staff was great even the valet attendants were courteous. I like the fact that it's not a "busy" hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Philly.

The valet on duty on the afternoon of 4/14 was very helpful and thoughtful.

The hotel was dark and uninviting. I did not like that our room faced the interior courtyard with very little natural light. The staff was fine but not particularly friendly, with the exception of the valet.

Hated valley parking! Called front desk 10 min before left the room, came downstairs and had to wait another 30 min for the car. Was late for the wedding! When I were checking out, Sunday morning, another 40 min wait for the car! Just terrible!

The location was great.

My boyfriend tried to find something to drink¿ a vending machine doesn¿t exist here. And when he asked the staff if they had a bottle of water or could grab a soda or something from the very LARGE lobby bar, they were pretty rude to him and did not help.

The room clearly had not been used for a long time. I noticed a thick layer of dust on the desk and in increments, realized that the refrigerator had been removed there were no cups, glasses, ice bucket ,tissues The desk corrected it after 3 requests.

The check-in staff made us wait for 25 minutes because ¿they weren¿t sure there was a room available for us¿ even though we booked 2.5 months before the trip

we were placed on the top floor of the hotel which was nice and it's centrally located. The maintenance engineer staff was really nice and went above and beyond.

all the mini fridges didn't work and it had mold in them. I needed a fridge to work because i needed to store things for my infant. The phones to call downstairs didn't work either.

The night check in or audit was the only thing about this ¿luxurious¿ hotel that was luxurious.

The supervisor didn¿t care when asking about my stay once I had things negative to say. The room lacked necessary amenities such as soap and wash cloths. Iron and TV remote was broke.

I liked the location.

I did not like the service I received. When I expressed an issue with a broken refrigerator my concern went unaddressed and I was met with attitude.

Can't really say anything stuck out.

The fact that they put a hold of $200 for amenities that they didn't offer. Had to call down for bottles of water. I understand the Covid situation but the cash hold amount was ridiculous to say the least.

Walls were not very sound proof.

Close to a city garage which has affordable parking.Easy access to downtown.

The lobby bar feels like a kiosk.
