This small private hotel has been a historic half-timbered inn since 1685. It is located 1969 feet from Celle's main railway station and 1969 feet from the pedestrian zone and congress center. The individually decorated rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV, electric kettle and hairdryer. A sumptuous breakfast buffet is served daily, and in the evenings you can relax in the romantic wine tavern or in the summer garden. Schifferkrug Hotel & Weinstube is a certified CO2-friendly hotel on the old Via Scandinavia, the Lower Saxony Asparagus Route and the Allerradweg cycle path. Children and pets are welcome. Public parking in front of the hotel. Charging points for electric cars and bicycles available. (no elevator available)

- Near the station andnear the historical centre, quiet, easy to find, nice design, a beautiful dining room, it shall be a good choice for summer, there is a yard with summer tables and a balcony + there is a kettle in the room, which is always good. I quite liked the hotel.
- Wonderful hotel! The breakfast is the Christmas settngs was just marvellous.
- Very helpful staff and nicely decorated, felt like grandmas home full of lovely Details nd cosy atmosphere. Location very good 10 min to Central station, quiet as well.
Cons -
- The room was rather cold. There is a heating device but still it takes time to warm the room properly. There is no towel-drier in the bathroom -- it is cold no matter what you do, the mirror and the walls get covered with vapour when you take a shower. The entrance is from the balcony and the door is not isolated properly.
