Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows

The view from the room was delightful. The pool and restaurant both delivered exceptional experiences.

The food cost was pretty ridiculous, especially at a pool. If you got the power bowl with chicken it was $50! It actually became a conversation starter among guests haha. That being said, the food was good.

asking for anything took at least 30 minutes or an hour. Ice iron glasses food everything was slow as if they were short staffed

The rooms were SMALL. Like NYC small. I had no where to put a suitcase, or anything else. There was no full length mirror. I loved the property and the location but the room was so squishy and not modern or chic at all.

Location, location, location. Also, the lobby is beautiful, every member of the staff is kind and cheerful, and the grounds are lovely.

Hotel is overpriced. Also, daily resort fee and daily parking fee cost as much as a days hotel stay elsewhere.

Hotel design us really showing it?s age and in need of a refresh for this quality. Rooms were a bit shabby, scratched furniture, buttons missing on leather ottoman. Bathtub was super uncomfortable , undersized, glass partition and door swing bad.

Room is very small, bathroom small. They should improve service at the pool. No one to put out towels and clean up after people leave and there are limited seats. Have to call to order food on phone and again no one cleans up dishes when you are done.

The front desk, girl was amazing! And the bell man his name started with an E I believe he was awesome!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at the Fairmont! They upgraded our room to an ocean view room and included champagne and chocolates which was such a nice touch! No issues with noise, loved hearing the ocean waves from the balcony.

Valet parking is really expensive - pro tip is to park at the meters on the street (free overnight)!

The service was good. Location. The second room met my expectations of a 5 star hotel.

The Bungalow is a very loud and popular bar scene. Any room facing this direction will feel the thumping, be inundated with loud and be unable to use their patios to enjoy the sunset. On Sunday, the restaurants are closed for dinner, except for the lobby.

Did not like the noisy nightclub attached. Slow getting luggage transferred to room. Internet connection did not work until I called the front desk. Had us programmed incorrectly. Ocean view was half parking lot & half toward ocean & Santa Monica Pier.

Falsely advertised as ¿on the beach¿ with picture of pool & beach behind it. That & the fact it was a Fairmont is why I paid a rate that was double other chain hotels in the area. Not on beach. Across a road, a hwy & down steps. TV in room did not work.

The Miramar is old but well maintained. Can¿t beat the location. Best thing is the valet staff will charge your electric car upon request. VERY helpful.

Main elevator was broken for an extended period. Inconvenient.

Location was perfect for us. The entry and lobby areas were nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. I also used the complimentary cruiser bikes to ride down to the beach.

The guest rooms was small, especially the bathroom. The hallways were worn, not what I would expect for this star level (scuff marks all along the wall, chips in the wood). And $66 for parking was the highest I¿ve seen.

The ocean view, car service, lunch by the koi pond and breakfast at the Fig, Food was great.

The drapes in the room were impossible to close all the way without falling off the track. We asked to have it taken care of and since it wasn¿t done, we had to call again the next morning but again the drapes fell off the track. The iPad wasn¿t working

The location is perfect. Walkable to the Santa Monica Pier and just around the corner from the pedestrian shopping area. The staff was very helpful and the room was spacious and clean.

The only parking option is valet.

The hotel was conveniently located. The room had a balcony overlooking the pier.

The hotel did not have any guest-accessible ice machines. If you wanted ice, you had to call the front desk and have them deliver it.

I was threatened by the security staff being told ¿they would hate to have to put me down¿. I was not listened to when concerns were voiced until the morning of my checkout. Overall I felt very uncomfortable with the majority of my stay. I¿m shocked.
