Great view from the quadruple room, directly to the Thames River and Canary Warf. Very comfortable beds

Bathroom was only half-renovated. New toilet and sink but the shower was still in the old bathtub

It was on the river and the ferry is complimentary. Other things that I did like: the patio overlooking the water. The public transportation routes are at the hotel. There is an Uber kiosk in the hotel.

It was old and dated. The cleaning standards were not what I am accustomed to. There was no fridge in the room. The layout was terrible. The room was small. There was a soured water smell. The elevator is tiny.

The hotel is across the Thames from Canary Wharf and it provides a free ferry to it. As a result, it gives easy access to London's s attractions both by water taxi and train, etc., including train access to Heathrow airport.

I felt the service was very ordinary. As well, the hallways to the rooms were very narrow and the elevators small making it difficult to move luggage and people.

Initial room was extremely small (chair was between desk and bed, 2 feet from TV, only enough room to turn around), thermostat did not work, heater sometimes blew cold air, hot water in sink little more than a dribble.

I arrived early and they let me check in early.

I booked 2 rooms both not clean enough.one room found dirty towel and other found tissue been used next to the bed.as a 4 stars hotel belongs Hilton.disappointed.next to the river but no any restaurant around the hotel.even time wanna go out have to get the boat.

Great place for the connections to Docklands and central very quite and different to staying in the city, easy to escape the noise and hustle and bustle with this as your base to go to and from

Lack of a pool, I think a swimming pool would have been the only thing that would have completed this hotel nicely

Amazing location the boats are free and fun!! Was super quiet and felt safe, the rooms were nice for a little getaway and had a good size TV!

Aircon is a little bit loud, and some staff wasn’t helpful when it come to ordering food and drink on the app.

No tea or coffee in room. Security guard was roughly fighting a guest on arrival Have to clean your own table after breakfast. No evening meals. Can't connect fire stick to TV blocked

We stayed at this hotel in April 2024, when it was run by Hilton - and we loved it - everything was top notch. We decided to book it again for this trip, surprised to find Hilton was running it any more but we enjoyed the location and had high hopes. the good: quiet.

I asked for a room on a high floor, they put me on a low floor. There were no glasses in the room for water or tea/coffe facilities, which wasn't as bad as the no glasses. Only one pillow each. The staff seemed to be wandering around not knowing what they were supposed to be doing. When we checked in I was told the facilities weren't up to scratch yet and that the bar wasn't open, but it was. I only found out that the rooms wouldn't be attended to because I heard someone else being told. I don't mind that but I should have been told. There was a dirty plate outside our room when we checked in on the Friday, it didn't get taken away until the Sunday. There were cobwebs on the walls of the dining room and the breakfast was rank. I was encouraged to download their app to check in but it's all in Dutch I think and I couldn't translate it and then my booking disappeared from it. I was so very disappointed because I so enjoyed our stay in April.

The staff is so nice and helpful. Lovely location and you have uber boat to the other side of the river in price of your stay.

The lock on the door was broken. We had to hit them really hard for them to close.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the surrounding neighbourhood is a quiet residential area with lots of pubs. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you to a metro station that's 5 minutes away.

This used to be a DoubleTree, and was recently taken over by another company (A&O hostels). The new management is nickle and diming everything. There's no hot water kettle, no fridge, no alarm clock, and in the bathroom they only offer a single mixed use shampoo/body wash. I heard them mentioning to another guest that you have to pay extra for these basic items. Either the building was understaffed or the staff were not prepared to handle the volume of guests. Each time I passed reception there was a huge line, and it took over an hour of waiting to check into my room.

Our recent five-day stay at a&o London Docklands Riverside was profoundly disappointing in every regard except for its convenient location. The property, currently in a state of transition, appears to be severely understaffed, leading to abysmal service quality. Housekeeping occurred only once throughout our entire stay, which is simply unacceptable for any hospitality establishment.The first room we were assigned had a malfunctioning toilet, and though the staff eventually relocated us, the replacement room was hardly an improvement. Adding insult to injury, we paid £200 for parking we never received because the garage was inoperable for the entire duration of our visit.What was once a Hilton-standard property has devolved into what feels more like a budget hostel. The beds were painfully outdated, the rooms reeked with unpleasant odors, and every element exuded neglect. Even at £50 per night, it felt like throwing money away. You’re far better off spending a bit more elsewhere — at least then you’ll enjoy proper service, comfort, and peace of mind.Overall, this was one of the most dreadful lodging experiences I’ve ever encountered, and I strongly discourage anyone from booking here.

The room was large and clean but no coffee/tea facillities which I found odd. Good location and quick frequent uber boat ride to Canary wharf. Nice bar and communal area where you can get coffee/tea/drinks late at night so I suppose it makes up for no facillities in room - sort of.

The Bathrooms by the bar area were disgusting (11am in the morning). They gave me the wrong key card when I arrived and had to trek back down to reception to get new key. Some staff were pretty grumpy and ill mannered. The signage on the doors could have been bettter, its a large hotel and it was a bit confusing.
