Located along the River Thames, DoubleTree by Hilton London - Docklands Riverside offers 4-star accommodations and stunning views of Canary Wharf. Free WiFi is available, and free gym access is on offer to all guests. This DoubleTree by Hilton is located in a former 17th century Wharf Building that features exposed brickwork and London's last dry dock for shipbuilding. Rooms are all en suite and each comes complete with a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, opening windows, and tea/coffee making facilities. Most guest rooms boast a city or river view. 24-hour room service and all-hours reception is on offer. Columbia Restaurant offers seasonal produce and individual barbecues on the outdoor terrace overlooking Canary Wharf and the River Thames. For celebrating special occasions, other eateries such as The Library and the Cozy boast private dining and high-class experiences. The riverside property offers its own complimentary river taxi for accessing Canary Wharf from its own pier. Car parking is available for an additional fee. This hotel is only 15-minutes from Canary Wharf Underground Station. Guests are also able to explore London via the River Thames fleet services. London City Airport is 30 minutes away by car. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes away from the Minecraft experience at Canada Water.

It was on the river and the ferry is complimentary. Other things that I did like: the patio overlooking the water. The public transportation routes are at the hotel. There is an Uber kiosk in the hotel.
The hotel is across the Thames from Canary Wharf and it provides a free ferry to it. As a result, it gives easy access to London's s attractions both by water taxi and train, etc., including train access to Heathrow airport.
I arrived early and they let me check in early.

Cons -

It was old and dated. The cleaning standards were not what I am accustomed to. There was no fridge in the room. The layout was terrible. The room was small. There was a soured water smell. The elevator is tiny.
I felt the service was very ordinary. As well, the hallways to the rooms were very narrow and the elevators small making it difficult to move luggage and people.
Initial room was extremely small (chair was between desk and bed, 2 feet from TV, only enough room to turn around), thermostat did not work, heater sometimes blew cold air, hot water in sink little more than a dribble.
