Clean. Location. Friendly and very helpful staff. Great food. Surprise, more than we expected. And great beds!

Nice room and great location

Check in process was terrible. We had to wait 30 minutes to check in. Apparently there was a computer update done right before check in time so automated check in machines didn¿t work and the system at the desk was exceptionally slow.

Within walking distance of all attractions.

Overpriced considering how worn out and run down it is. The lobby was neat and in line with expectations but the room and bathroom were in a very poor condition but not dirty.

We liked the central location in Roskilde. We liked the quiet location for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and polite and helpful. The breakfast was especially good. We will visit again if the opportunity to visit again arises.

You did everything right.

Traditional style furniture, very cozy; Located at the shopping street, near the train station and near the Cathedral, very convenient location for walks.

The room looked a little worn out overall, namely the sitting area; bathroom was mostly clean but with traces of mold around the shower area, which was not pleasant. Mold always makes me question the cleanliness of the entire room.

Enjoyed the historic nature of the building and found the location convenient. Only stayed one night, but were glad to be located on a pedestrian walking street and close to the cathedral and central market square. Also appreciated having parking readily available.

We had a little trouble finding how to actually get to the hotel, but that was more a problem with Google Maps than anything related to the hotel itself.

It is getting a little old and tired, breakfast was small and strange. The restaurant is good, who is using a battup to day?

Great basic hotel, clean, comfortable and close to attractions. Also walking distance from train station.Lovely to have a balcony that I could open the doors and let in fresh air. Nice basic breakfast.

Hotel is really old, you can see it and sense it. Unfortunately my stay wasn't pleasant as I ended up in a room with unfunctional windows, slide bathroom doors and terrible smell constantly coming from the sewage. So, there was no way to air the room sufficiently or stop the bad smell from entering in the bedroom. I couldn't change to another room on the first day of my stay as they were sold out, but I did get to switch the second night of my stay. Definitely not worth of the price they charge for the stay and not even near the 1 star level with the value. It gets 4/10, only because the stuff and location are nice. The new room was better, but still in general very low value/comfort/content.

The staff was super friendly, location is perfect, and the room and bathroom were super clean.The only downside for me was that there's no kettle in the room with tea, coffee and stuff. They do have a machine in the reception of the hotel, but you need to pay to use it.It would also be nice if the room had air conditioning, as it gets direct sun and gets really hot inside.For the price I expected a little more I guess.

Breakfast was good, standard continental type food. There was a wait to be seated sign but everyone including myself ignored it because there were no staff around. Location is right in the heart of the high street which was perfect for me doing Epic Fest.

Heating was on in my room despite it being warm outside, didn't notice when I checked it. Opened the window that night and the old external bit rattled. Low shower pressure but all of this is being picky.

Lovely old hotel. Room was a really good size. Quiet and relaxing. Comfortable bed. Great location in the town and perfect for everywhere we wanted to go. All the Staff were great. Really helpful.

No kettle in room and when we got back quite late, would have liked to have made our own hot drink, instead of paying to use the machine in reception. Thought this would have been included in the room. Found pillows uncomfortable. Room could do with a bit of a better clean. Bathroom has scale build up.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the style of the hotel decor is very quaint which fits the town atmosphere. I really liked the staff, they were helpful and friendly. The art in the rooms was a nice touch.

Since the style of the hotel is a bit dated, some things could use a bit of maintenance to give them a fresher look.

My bathtub was out of order

Good sized room, clean, nice staff, great location. Some rooms are a little dated however I think they are renovating them slowly. Would stay again!
