Hotel Astuy

Beautiful view, nice too, fun and accessible beaches.

Staff at bar ignored us so we walked elsewhere to get coffee. They advertise free parking, but there was no enough for all the guests. We circled the parking area for 30 minutes.

Nicely located hotel. The room was pretty good with view to the coast. Room had everything what was necessary. The reception is open 24h and surprisingly speaks english very well.Restaurant is a little bit overpriced, but the meal is good. The waiter didn't speak English well, but he tried very hard and overall left a good impression.

Problematic finding the entrance from the car

The room is clean, quiet and comfortable.

The paint is chipping off the shower head. I scratched my neck. The shower stall is not closed, water is getting on the floor.

The location, the comfortable beds, cafe service, friendly staff.

The pool being in view from both ends by people dining. Most of the reception staff were very friendly with the exception of one.

I was surprised that there wasn't any air conditioning in the room. I have stayed in many hotels in Spain and never encountered a hotel room without air conditioning. The electric tower fan in the room was a waste of time. This made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. There isn't a mirror in the bedroom. The only mirror was in the bathroom which was poorly lit and decorated in black, making it even harder to see. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, so after having a shower the bathroom it was full of steam and condensation making it easy to slip onto the floor.

No aircon

Wasn’t expecting much for a 3star hotel, however Hotel Astus exceeded my expectations. The room had an amazing view to the sea, the room was sizeable with a nice shower room. The staff at the hotel (cleaners, reception, restaurant, cafeteria…) were extremely nice and polite. The hotel has a very nice restaurant as well which is a bonus.

The cafeteria opened and 9am and the breakfast room at 830 which for us was a bit late, but in the end you are on holidays in Spain, so having breakfast at 9am is not that bad.

Amazing beach front hotel, with added bonus of pool and whirl pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. Ate in the cafeteria for lunch, great service and helpful staff. Food was very good. Free parking too!

Been coming to the Astuy since 1998 before it was refurbished. It has always been in the best location with friendly staff. Since the renovations some years ago, the rooms are amazingly comfortable, modern and have everything. you need.The sea View apartments are lovely and highly recommended.

Our second stay here, great location and very nice rooms. Sea view is essential, its lovely. Secure outdoor parking a few meters away. Beaches and surrounding area are really pretty.

Restaurant staff were very miserable, we left and ate in the bar.

Location is great, right by the water.The restaurant downstairs has good food that isn't too expensive.

It was more than our expectations. We stayed in the room Seaview, and we got the best room. It was the best position so can see the sea very well. The room is big enough. Also you can open whole windows so you actually have a bit balcony. And it's very calm. The restaurant also super good! And the cafeteria to have breakfast also nice. The waiter's are super friendly. We really recommend it especially for couples who need to staycation and be calm.

While parking was close and easily accessed, is not on same property. You have to carry luggage across a walkway.

Location on promenade in beautiful bay. Thoroughly well designed, soundproof, warm rooms with big window & balcony with beach & Mountain View. Lovely little bathroom.

Not worth it

The staff did not speak English besides a few words - not like it stated on website. Also, they were not friendly or helpful. The cafe staff only served the loudest person, ended up leaving after 10 minutes of waiting. The ‘hot tub’ advertised on the English website is really only a small sized pool with cold sea water. Room was extremely hot. Shades left open and no a/c. Would not go back.
